Day 1 – Arrival in Tel Aviv

Fly to Tel Aviv and transfer to the hotel for a one night stay

Day 2 – Caesarea & Acre

Today’s journey takes you to the ancient city of Caesarea, founded by King Herod to honor Caesar Augustus and secure his appointment as Governor of Roman Judea. Once the largest port in the Eastern Mediterranean, it boasts remnants of Herod’s grand palaces and offers a rich historical tapestry to explore.

In Acre, a remarkable 12th-century Crusader city awaits, with beautifully preserved vaulted Knights’ Halls showcasing medieval European military architecture at its finest. Afterwards, travel  to Nazareth, where you’ll visit the renowned Church of the Annunciation before continuing to Tiberias on the picturesque Sea of Galilee.

Day 3 – Sea of Galilee & Capernaum

After a boat journey across the Sea of Galilee, you’ll reach Capernaum, where Jesus lived, performed healings, and chose his first five disciples. Nearby lies Tabgha, the site of the miraculous feeding of the 5,000. You’ll also explore the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Here, a serene octagonal church is surrounded by picturesque gardens offering stunning views of the Sea of Galilee. Your accommodation for the night on the Dead Sea’s shores.

Day 4 – Dead Sea & Masada

Today, savor a must-do experience as you effortlessly float in the buoyant waters of the Dead Sea, enveloped by the desert landscape at the Earth’s lowest point. Later, you’ll have the chance to explore the awe-inspiring fortress of Masada, renowned for one of the ancient Romans’ most remarkable sieges. Your journey then carries on to Jerusalem, where you’ll stay for the next four nights.

Day 5 – Jerusalem

Your day begins with a visit to the Mount of Olives, offering a panoramic view of the ancient city from the world’s oldest continually used cemetery, with the striking Dome of the Rock as its centrepiece. Afterward, explore the Garden of Gethsemane and delve into the intricate network of streets and alleyways within the Old City. Here, in remarkable proximity, you’ll find some of the holiest sites for over half the world’s population. Highlights include the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The church’s ornate decoration and the profoundly moving atmosphere are truly astounding.

Day 6 – Bethlehem

Today,  journey to Bethlehem, where you explore the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds’ Fields. This historic church is one of the Holy Land’s oldest still in use. Despite being a contested holy site over centuries, it preserves remnants of mosaics and paintings dating back to the 4th and 12th centuries. Upon returning to Jerusalem, take a visit to the poignant Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem, and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the display of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Day 7 – Free day

Today is a day for you to unwind and explore at your own pace. The Tower of David Museum, situated on the ruins of one of Herod the Great’s palaces, offers an impressive history lesson and breathtaking views of the timeless cityscape. You can also enjoy leisurely exploration on your own, discovering Roman shops still in use and meandering into serene churches.

Day 8 – Return Home

At the appropriate time, transfer to Tel Aviv for your flight back to the UK
