Visit Morocco’s oldest Roman site and admire the ancient mosaics while listening to stories told by a local historian

Head into the desert to explore, enjoy a traditional local dinner and a star reading under night sky

Day 1: Fly to Casablanca
Arrive in Casablanca and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend as you wish.

Day 2: Explore Rabat
Travel to Rabat. Enjoy a tour of the city, beginning at Hassan Tower, before viewing the mausoleum of Mohammed V. Visit a female-run weaving co-operative in the old medina. Explore the medina more before enjoy a pastry break in a riad while listening to a local expert talking about Moroccan traditions.

Day 3: Tangier by train
Head to the train station to board the high speed train to Tanger. On arrival, begin by visiting Cap Spartel, Hercules Caves and the kasbah. Pause to enjoy a mint tea at Café Hafa before wandering through the Marshan district.

Day 4: Travel to Chefchaouen
Today, explore the mountain village of Chefchaouen, known for its blue-washed buildings. Discover the medina, visit the Outta Hammam and the Ras El Ma. In the evening, enjoy dinner in a riad, followed by a Hadra Chawnia music performance.

Day 5: Chefchaouen at leisure
This morning, learn how the indigo dye used to colour the city wall’s is prepared before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6: Journey to Fez
Leaving Chefchaouen, head towards Fez. Along the way, stop at the Roman site of Volubilis. Admire the ancient mosaics and stroll through the streets in the company of a local historian. Continue to Fez, where on arrival, the rest of the day is free.

Day 7: Explore Fez
Spend the day exploring the many sights of Fez. Visit the artisans of the Chouara Tanneries and watch them at work. Explore the old medinas, admiring the madrasas, mosques and souks.

Day 8: Culinary Fez
Spend the morning in a cooking class, beginning with a visit to the market to select ingredients. Prepare traditional dishes that you’ll enjoy for lunch. In the afternoon, visit a pottery atelier, where you’ll get the chance to have a go yourself.

Day 9: Magical Marrakech
On Christmas Eve, you’ll travel to Marrakech. In the evening, enjoy a drink overlooking the city before a special Christmas Eve dinner accompanied by music.

Day 10: Christmas in Marrakech
Spend the day exploring the city’s rich and colourful history and culture. Start off with a walking tour of the medina before Christmas lunch in a riad. This afternoon, visit the colourful Majorelle Gardens, home to 300 species of plants. Celebrate Christmas with a festive dinner inside a former sugar factory, restored into a opulent palace.

Day 11: Into the Atlas Mountains
Hop into a 4×4 to travel into the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the home of a Berber family to learn about the lifestyle. Enjoy a tea ceremony and traditional lunch. Continue to a mountain village and join a Berber bread making session followed by a visit to the Anima Garden. Return to Marrakech.

Day 12: Desert Adventure
Enjoy a morning at leisure before a lunch at the Beldi Country Club. Then, head into the Agafay Desert, exploring its dramatic landscapes. As the sunsets, enjoy a drink before a traditional barbeque dinner. End the night with a star reading under the desert night sky.

Day 13: Back to Casablanca
Return to Casablanca by road. On arrival, visit the Hassan II Mosque before having an afternoon at leisure. At the end of the day, enjoy a farewell dinner at Rick’s Café, inspirating by the 1942 film.

Transfer to the airport for your flight home

Head to the market with a chef to pick ingredients before a three-hour long cooking class where you’ll create a traditional dish.

Experience Fez’s famous tanneries
