Explore the local markets of Marrakech
Day 1: Fly to Casablanca
Fly to Casablanca. On arrival, transfer to Rabat where you’ll have the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Explore Rabat
Spend today exploring Rabat, the country’s capital. Begin at the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to Oudayas Fortress before strolling through the old medina.

Day 3: Tangier by Train
Transfer to the train station to take the high-speed train to the port of Tangier. Explore the city, visiting Cape Spartel and the forest of Rmilat.

Day 4: Travel to Chefchaouen
Head south to the mountain village of Chefchaouen. Known for its blue-washed buildings, here you can visit the historic Outta Hammam and Ras El Ma.

Day 5: Journey to Fez
Leave Chefchaouen and travel towards Fez. On route, stop at Voubilis, Morocco’s oldest Roman site. Admire the ancient ruins and mosaics before continuing to Fez.

Day 6: Explore Fez
Start your day at the old medina, where you can see medresas and mosques. Take part in a pottery workshop and visit the Chouara Tanneries. Spend the afternoon wandering through the souks and markets before enjoying a dance performance at dinner.

Day 7: Culinary Fez
This morning, take part in a cooking class where you’ll learn how to make a traditional dish for lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure before meeting for dinner.

Day 8: Travel to Erfoud
Take a scenic driver through the Atlas Mountains to reach the Ziz Valley. Stop to visit the Macaque monkeys that live in this area before continuing to Erfoud.

Day 9: Desert Adventure
Spend the morning exploring the town of Rissani near the edge of the Erg Chebbi Desert. Then, take part in a cooking class where you’ll prepare medfouna. Later in the afternoon, join a jeep safari to a desert camp in Merzouga. Here you’ll be entertained by traditional music and dancing and spend the night in an elegant berber tent.

Day 10: Travel to Skoura
Awake surrounded by the golden Sahara and travel to the old Kasbah of Skoura.

Day 11: Journey to Marrakech
Set out to the city of Marrakech this morning. On route, stop at Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Spend some time exploring this fortified village.

Day 12: Explore Marrakech
Spend the day exploring the city. Begin by visiting fondouk and caravanserais and an ancient bakery. Learn about the hammam before spending the afternoon wandering through the souks.

Day 13: Visit the Ourika Valley
Head into the mountains to visit two brilliant gardens, Anima Gardens and the Jardin Bio Aromatique d’Ourika. Enjoy lunch with the locals and take part in a tea ceremony before returning to the city.

Day 14: Travel to Essaouira
Leave Marrakech behind and head to the coast to reach Essaouira. Take a walking tour of the medina before having the afternoon at leisure.

Day 15: Essaouira at leisure
Enjoy a whole day at leisure to explore the town, with only lunch at a local restaurant and dinner at the hotel scheduled in.

Day 16: Return to Casablanca
Travel back to Casablanca. On arrival, visit the Hassan II Mosque before enjoying a farewell dinner.

Day 17: Fly Casablanca to UK
