Embark on the North Cape Line from the picturesque city of Bergen for a stunning voyage during autumn, winter, or spring. After reaching this breathtaking destination, your ship will turn southward, sailing towards Lindesnes and onward to the vibrant capital of Oslo.

Day 1: Bergen
Arrive in Bergen independently. Depending on your time of arrival, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the city and enjoy dinner at leisure.
(Please note, if you book this voyage within 90 days of your desired departure date, the voyage will begin on Day 2 in Bergen)
Day 2: Bergen
After breakfast, head out on a guided sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Nordnes peninsula, Hakon’s Hall, and Rosenkrantz Tower. End the tour at the pier where you’ll board MS Trollfjord, your home for the remainder of the trip.
Day 3: Molde
Sail to the Romsdal Peninsula where you’ll find the city of Molde. Here you can join an optional excursion along the Atlantic Road or a hike to the Varden viewpoint to admire the 222 snowy peaks across Moldefjord.
Day 4: Rørvik
Dock at Rørvik today, a port town in the Vikna archipelago. Head on an optional excursion to three of the town’s museums to learn more about its maritime history. Alternatively, you can visit SalmoNor and take a tour of a modern salmon farm.
Day 5: Lødingen
Travel to the village of Lødingen today, arriving around midday. From here you’ll be able to explore more of Hinnøya island, Norway’s largest island south of Svalbard. Enjoy brilliant views of fjords and mountains, including the Gullesfjord which cuts into the north of the island. There are a range of optional excursions available today, including a fishing trip or a chance to learn about Sámi culture and history
Day 6: Alta
Today you’ll visit Alta, one of the biggest coastal towns on the North Cape route. The town is known for its salmon and as an epicentre of research into the Northern Lights. During winter, you’ll have the option of touring the world’s northernmost ice hotels. Alternatively, you can visit the Northern Lights Cathedral or take a guided tour of the town.
Day 7: Honningsvåg
Spend the entire day in the northernmost city on the Norwegian mainland, Honningsvåg. Here you can take part in some fantastic winter activities, including ice fishing, shoe shoeing or king crab catching. From Honningsvåg, you can join an excursion to the North Cape itself. Returning to the ship, turn to begin sailing south.
Day 8: Tromsø
Visit the Arctic Capital itself today as you sail into Tromsø, the ideal place to enjoy some wintery activities such as dogsledding or whale watching. Those wanting to learn more about the local culture can join in with some knitting or take a excursion to meet the local Sommarøy people.
Day 9: Lofoten Islands
Explore the breath-taking Lofoten Islands today. Sail to Stokmarknes, where the Original Coastal Express was founded in 1893. Take a guided tour of Hurtigrutemuseet, the museum that tells Hurtigruten’s history before sailing to the town of Svolvær. Here, there are a variety of optional excursions available including kayaking, fishing, and a bus tour.
Day 10: Brønnøysund
Stop in the town of Brønnøysund today. Enjoy some free time to wander around the harbour and perhaps visit the marina or church. South of the own, you’ll find the Torghatten mountain, recognisable due to the tunnel that passes through the centre of the mountain itself. There is an optional excursion for those who wish to walk up to the tunnel.
Day 11: Ålesund
Arrive in Ålesund mid-morning. Enjoy plenty of time to explore the town, with the choice of an optional walking tour, a scenic bus tour to Alnes or a visit to the Saga Islands. Alternatively, you can head to the nearby Mount Aksla viewpoint for panoramic views of the archipelago.
Day 12: Hardangerfjord
Sail south along the coast past some of Norway’s most famous fjords to reach Hardangerfjord, the second largest in the country. Enjoy brilliant views of the white peaks that tower over the fjord and depending on the weather, dock at one of the settlements along the shore. In the afternoon, reach Haugesund, the ‘Home of the Viking Kings’. Here you’ll find St Olav’s Church and Haraldshaugen, a national monument. Learn more about Viking history with a visit Nordvegen Centre or try a Viking Experience by RIB boat.
Day 13: Kristiansand
Today you’ll sail into Kristiansund on the southern tip of Norway. Here you can learn about the city’s sustainability project on an optional excursion to Odderøya Island. Alternatively, you can visit Batterie Vara, a historic fort, or the Lindesnes Lighthouse which marks the country’s southernmost point. Return to the ship for this evening’s farewell dinner.
Day 14: Oslo
Arrive into Oslo in the morning where you disembark the ship for your onward journey.
