Day 3-4: Santiago

During the first full day of your South American adventure, commence a guided city tour of Santiago. Explore some of the main highlights such as the National Museum of History, the extensive green spaces and the central market at Plaza de Armas. Discover more of what the city has to offer as you enjoy some free time in the afternoon, and the following day, to explore independently.

Day 5: Casablanca Valley – Viña del Mar – Valparaiso – San Antonio

After your unforgettable experiences on the in Santiago, you will then head to Valparaiso for a guided city tour. This also includes a scheduled exploration of Viña del Mar, before travelling to Casablanca Valley to gain knowledge into Chile’s extensive wine-making heritage, as you take part in an included wine tasting experience at William Cole vineyard. You’ll then continue to San Antonio to board your cruise ship.

Today will be the first day at sea, so why not relax and make the most of the ship’s facilities?

Day 7: Puerto Montt

Experience the unique mixture of different cultures as you explore the capital of Los Lagos. Gain fascinating insight into the region’s rich cultural history, whilst also walking round the volcanic landscapes, glacial lakes and staggering National Parks as you enjoy a visit here.

Day 8: Puerto Chacabuco

The journey continues to the remote town of Puerto Chacabuco, with the being so much to do during the visit here. The Río Simpson National Reserve offers breath-taking views of the region’s natural beauty, or why not head to the capital, Coihaique, and visit the local shops and restaurants?

Day 9-10: The Chilean Fjords

Navigate through the dramatic landscapes of the Chilean Fjords over the next two days, with the remarkable stretch of coastline being home to impressive mountains and breath-taking valleys.

Day 11: Cruising the Strait of Magellan

Spend the entirety of day 12 journeying through the Magellan strait and towards Punta Arenas, Chile. Spend some time taking in the stunning views during the transit, whilst also taking advantage of the excellent facilities onboard your cruise ship. Experience a scenic cruise around the wonderful city of Punta Arenas – the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. Look out for the rich variety of wildlife, as well as the breath-taking scenery, before sailing through the Cockburn Channel and passing through many impressive glaciers, such as Pia Glacier and Pia Fjord.

Day 12: Ushuaia

You’ll begin today by sailing through Glacier Alley and on towards Ushuaia. Immerse yourself in the dense forests, sparkling lakes and windswept plains of the city on Argentina’s southernmost tip, during your scenic transit to Ushuaia.

Sail through the notorious Cape Horn today – where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet.

Marvel at the abundance of penguins and other bird species as you explore Stanley – the capital of the Falkland Islands.

Day 17: Montevideo, Uruguay

Arrive in Uruguay’s capital city and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. Perhaps spend some time exploring the city’s downtown district with its rich cultural history, or experience the vibrant tango bars and elegant old theatres in other parts of the city.

Day 19: Buenos Aires – Iguazu Falls

Head back to the airport in the morning as you prepare for the incredible experiences at Igazu Falls. After you arrive, take part in an immersive exploration of the Argentinean side of Igazu Falls, before transferring to your hotel and having an evening to relax.

During the morning of day 5, experience the immense power and ferocity of the waters as you embark on a tour of Iguazu Falls’ Brazilian side. This includes a visit to the remarkable ‘Devil’s Throat’ – a collection of three striking falls.

Day 21: Igazu Falls – Buenos Aires

After having arrived in Argentina’s capital in the early morning, transfer directly to your hotel. The remainder of the day if free for you to explore the city independently as you soak up the unique sights and sounds of this bustling capital.

Embark on a full-day of exploration around Buenos Aires as your enjoy a guided tour of the city’s highlights, including visits to Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the walled cemetery of Recoleta. The remainder of the day is free to spend however you wish.
