Day 1: UK – San Jose
Titan Travel’s nationwide return shared chauffeur service will pick you up from home and take you directly to the airport for your flight to San Jose where, on arrival, you will transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: San Jose
This morning, explore San Jose on a guided tour. Travelling through both the business and residential districts, you’ll see the Bellavista Fortress and the National Theatre along with other elegant buildings.

Day 3: Tortuguero
Today, drive through Braulio Carrillo National Park, passing volcanic mountains and banana plantations to reach Tortuguero. On arrival, board a boat to travel along the canals to your lodge. Later in the day, explore the village and visit the Turtle Preservation Centre where you might get the chance to see them hatching (depends on departure date)

Day 4: Tortuguero National Park
Start the day by explore the canals in more depth keeping a look out for the wildlife that lives along them, including monkeys, sloths and toucans. The rest of the day is at leisure to spend as you wish.

Day 5: Arenal
This morning, leave the lodge by boat before boarding a coach to Arenal.

Day 6: Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge
Head to the small village of Los Chiles, where you’ll board a boat for a floating safari through the wildlife refuge, one of Costa Rica’s most diverse. As you glide along, keep an eye out for birds such as the roseate spoonbill and wood storks.

Day 7: Monteverde
After leaving Arenal and arriving in Monteverde, enjoy a visit to the Monteverde Butterfly Gardens where you can observe and marvel at these beautiful winged insects.

Today is free for you spend as you wish, either an optional excursion into the cloud forest canopy available.

Day 9: Cloud Forest – San Jose
This morning, get the chance to walk through a private cloud forest reserve, known for its good chances of spotting a quetzal. Leaving the forest behind, travel to San Jose, stopping at the town of Sarchi on the way

Day 10: San Jose – In flight
Transfer to the airport ahead of your return flight to the UK.

Embark on a magnificent cruise journey through the Panama Canal. Marvel at the incredible Miraflores and Pedro Miguel lock systems, as well as the abundance of wildlife in the surrounding tropical rainforest as you journey through one of the world’s greatest wonders.

Day 12: Panama City
Take a guided tour of Panama City this morning, immersing yourself in the city’s highlights, taking in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Panama Viejo Historical Monument Complex, and the Historic District. Afterwards, soak up the outstanding panoramic views of the Panama Canal while visiting the Causeway.
