Day 1: Departure
Head to the airport for your overnight flight to South America.

Day 2: Arrival in Lima
On arrival, transfer to Lima. This afternoon, take a tour of the city, seeing the Presidential Palace, the Plaza del Armas and the San Francisco Church.

Day 3: Sacred Valley
Today, take a flight to Cusco. From here, transfer to your hotel in the Urubamba Valley just below the city to help you acclimatise to the altitude.

Day 4: Pisac & Sacred Valley
Spend the day exploring the Sacred Valley. Begin by visiting Pisac, known for its colourful market filled with local handicrafts, from handmade rugs and ponchos to ceramics. After lunch, visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, where you can examine the intricate stonework.

Day 5: Machu Picchu
Board the Explorer Train for a journey through the Urubamba River gorge to Machu Picchu. Spend some time exploring with a guide before returning by train and then transferring to Cusco

Day 6: Cusco
This morning, see some of Cusco’s highlights, including the main square, with its huge Cathedral. Then, visit the Qorichancha, the Incan temple to the sun. The afternoon is free to spend as you wish.

Day 7: Flight to Buenos Aires
Fly back to Lima to connect with a flight to Buenos Aires where you’ll arrive late in the afternoon.

Day 8: Pampas Ranch
Following breakfast, drive out of the city to the plains west of the city. Arrive at Estancia Santa Susana, a working ranch covering 3,000 acres. Learn about life here during the 19^th century and enjoy a lunch with local dances and songs.

Day 9: Buenos Aires & Tango Show
Explore the city today with a guided tour, visiting the Palaza de Mayo and the brightly hued Presidential Palace. See the colourful districts of San Telmo and La Boca, before visiting Recoleta Cemetery to see Eva Peron’s resting place. In the evening, enjoy a visit to a tango show, with dinner included.

Day 10: Fly to Iguazu Falls
Head to the airport for a flight to Iguazu Falls, where you’ll arrive in the afternoon. Head to the falls to see them from the Brazilian side.

Day 11: Iguazu Falls
Head to the Argentinian side of the falls to reach more viewpoints, include the Devil’s Throat balcony. Catch the open-sided jungle train to the head of the falls.

Day 12: Fly to Rio de Janeiro
After a relaxing morning, take a flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 13: Rio de Janeiro
Today, take the cog railway through Tijuca Forest National Park to reach the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Return to sea level to take a walk through the Botanical Garden before an included lunch.

Day 14: Rio de Janeiro
This morning, take a cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain where you can enjoy brilliant views out over the bays and beaches. Following this, take a tour through the centre of Rio and enjoy a lunch as the iconic Confeitaria Colombo.

Days 15-16: Return Home
Today, transfer to the airport for your flight home, arriving the following day
