Day 1: Fly to Calgary
Take a flight to Calgary. On arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Banff where the rest of the day is at leisure before a welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 2: Explore Banff
Spend the day exploring Banff National Park. Begin with a ride on the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain where you can enjoy 360° views of the surrounding mountains. Continue to Lake Louise, pausing the lunch along the way before visiting the Columbia Icefield.

Day 3: All aboard the Rocky Mountaineer
This morning, transfer to the train station where you’ll board the celebrated Rocky Mountaineer train. Enjoy breakfast as the train leaves Banff, heading west through majestic landscapes. As you travel, learn about Spiral Tunnels and Glacier National Park as you sit in the dome car. Arrive in Kamloops this evening and transfer to your hotel before having free time to find dinner in one of the local restaurants.

Day 4; Arrive in Vancouver
Continue your journey on the Rocky Mountaineer, travelling along the Fraser River and passing through Hell’s Gate before pulling into Vancouver where you’ll say goodbye to the Rocky Mountaineer and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Explore Vancouver Island
Take a ferry across the strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. Here you’ll explore the renowned Butchart Gardens for a guided walk around their 122-year old garden followed by lunch. Return to the city by ferry later on.

Day 6: Board the Holland America Line Koningsdam
Transfer to Vancouver’s cruise terminal to board your cruise ship. The rest of the day is free to settle into your cabin and start exploring the facilities onboard the ship.

Day 7: Cruise – At Sea
Sail northwards along the Inside Passage, known for its calm waters and incredible scenery of forests, mountains and fjords. Head on deck to keep an eye out for wildlife like whales and eagles.

Day 8: Cruise – Juneau*
The ship docks in the state capital of Juneau, where you can explore the city or perhaps head out to explore the nature on its doorstep.

Day 9: Cruise – Skagway*
Spend the day in Skagway, where you can learn about the Klondike Gold Rush and the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad or explore the scenery that surrounds the town.

Day 10: Cruise – At Sea
Enjoy a day at sea, cruising through the beautiful Glacier Bay, taking in the views of the glaciers and keeping an eye out for humpback whales.

Day 11: Cruise – Ketchikan*
Call at Ketchikan today, a major hub for fishing and a town of vibrant native culture. Perhaps go sportfishing o visit the intricate totem poles.

Day 12: Cruise – At Sea
Cruise southwards back through the Inside Passage.

Day 13: Arrive in Vancouver
Disembark the Koningsdam this morning and meet your guide. Then set off for a guided tour of the city, visiting Stanley Park and Granville Island, including a stop for lunch along the way. Later, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 14: Fly Vancouver to UK
Transfer to the airport for your flight home to the UK, arriving the same or following day.
