Days 1-2: Fly to Tokyo
Fly overnight to Tokyo. On arrival, transfer to your hotel where the rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish.

Day 3: Explore Tokyo
Start your exploration of Tokyo at Senso-ji, the city’s oldest temple before heading up the Skytree for magical views. Then, join a sushi chef to enjoy a sushi making masterclass before dining on your creations for lunch. Enjoy Meiji Jingu Shrine and sample local treats from Takeshita Street. Finally, visit the iconic Shibuya Crossing.

Day 4: Board the Holland American Line Noordam
Transfer to the cruise terminal to board the MS Noordam. The rest of the day is free to explore the ship’s facilities and settle in to your cabin.

Day 5: Cruise – At Sea
Cruise northwards along the coast, with a full day to enjoy the onboard entertainment and facilities.

Day 6: Cruise – Kushiro*
Arrive in the port of Kushiro on the island of Hokkaido. Here you can explore the visit Kushiro Shitsugen National Park in search of cranes or admire the volcanic craters and lakes of Akan National Park

Days 7-11: Cruise – At Sea
Over the next 5 days, sail across the Pacific, with plenty of time to shop, watch a show or simply relax.

Day 12: Cruise – Kodiak*
Your first port of call in Alaska is the Kodiak Island, famous for its population of Kodiak bears. Explore the town, learn about the island’s history or perhaps take a nature hike.

Day 13: Cruise – At Sea
Enjoy another day onboard the ship.

Day 14: Cruise – Sitka*
Port at Sitka on Baranof Island. Explore its fascinating history and Russian influenced architecture or visit one of the local animal sanctuaries.

Day 15: Cruise – Ketchikan*
Today call at Ketchikan where you can visit the intricate totem poles of the indigenous Alaskan nations. Depart Ketchikan later in the day and sail into the Inside Passage.

Day 16: Cruise – Prince Rupert*
Cross into Canadian waters and call into the port of Prince Rupert on Kaien Island. You could head out on a hike or visit the Museum of Northern British Columbia.

Day 17: Cruise – At Sea
Spend the day relaxing onboard as you sail towards Seattle.

Day 18: Arrive in Seattle
Disembark the Noordam and meet your guide. Check into your hotel before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 19: Explore Seattle
Start in Seattle’s historic downtown, home to Pike Place Market, the first Starbucks and the Seattle Art Museum. Explore the multicultural International District and waterfront, enjoy skyline views from Kerry Park, and discover neighbourhoods like Broadmoor, Fremont and Magnolia Bluff. Finish with a visit to the iconic Space Needle and Seattle Center.

Day 20: Fly Seattle to UK
Transfer to the airport and fly home to the UK. Arrive the same or following day.
