Day 1: UK – San Francisco

Day 2: San Francisco

After arriving in San Francisco, you will spend the first morning of your exciting tour exploring the historic Fisherman’s Wharf, with its plethora of seafood restaurants and street performers. Spend the afternoon at your own leisure, discovering the unique sights and sounds of the ‘City by the Bay’.

Day 3: Santa Rosa – Eureka

Visit the town widely recognised as the craft brew capital of the United States, Santa Rosa. Indulge in the excellent variety of wines during a guided wine tasting experience, before travelling through the breathtaking ‘Avenue of the Giants’. En route, soak up the amazing scenery as you journey towards Eureka, a historic coastal town which you can explore in the evening.

Day 4: Redwood National Park – Medford

Travel through the stunning Redwood National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as your tour travels from California into Oregon. Later on, you will arrive in the southern Oregon city of Medford ahead of a two-night stay.

Day 5: Crater Lake National Park

Explore the historic Crater Lake National Park, immersing yourself in the breathtaking views across this ancient lake, dating back 7,700 years. Enjoy an evening of leisure as you return back to Medford.

Day 6: Coast Starlight Train (Eugene – Seattle)

Following your unforgettable experience in Crater Lake National Park, you will then board Amtrak’s Coast Starlight Train as the journey continue from Eugene to Seattle. Soak up the stunning views of the Cascade Range including lush forests and eye-catching valleys, before transferring to your hotel upon reaching the seaport city of Seattle.

Enjoy an orientation tour of the city and have the opportunity to join an optional excursion to the Space Needle. Witness the outstanding panoramic views of the Emerald city before an evening at your own leisure.

Transfer to the harbour prior to boarding your cruise ship ahead of your exhilarating journey to Alaska. Scan the vast waters for different species of whale, whilst keeping your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife inhabiting the San Juan Islands.

Witness the stark contrast of towering mountains surrounding deep waters as the tour passes through Stephens Passage. You will then reach the remote city of Juneau, where you will have time to explore what the city has to offer. In the evening, return to the ship ahead of the next leg of your journey.

Day 11: Glacier Bay – Icy Strait Point

Sail through the awe-inspiring Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, admiring the dramatic glaciers, rugged mountains and fjords along the way. The ship will then head to Icy Strait Point, the site of the only remaining restored salmon cannery in Alaska.

Due to its geographical position being surrounded by the Tongass National Forest, the remote region of Sitka is only accessible by sea or air travel. Immerse yourself in the incredible views of Sisters Mountains and Mount Edgecumbe volcano, experiencing more of Alaska’s beauty.

Located on the banks of the Tongass Narrows, Ketchikan is a place steeped in rich cultural history. While here, visit the Totem Heritage Centre to view the authentic carved totem poles before another night on the Eurodam.

The cruise will dock for the evening in Victoria on Vancouver Island. Explore the vibrant waterfront with its bars, restaurants and evening entertainment.

Day 15: Seattle – In flight
