Named after Norway’s King Harald V, a skilled sailor in his own right, the MS Kong Harald operates along Norway’s coastline as part of the Hurtigruten Coastal Voyage Fleet.

Christened in 1996, MS Nordkapp’s maiden voyage was to the Shetland Islands before it began sailing the Norwegian coast in April 1996. Since 2007, it has been part of Hurtigruten’s fleet dedicated to the Norwegian coastline.

The ship offers a comfortable and unique ambiance, inviting passengers to relax in cozy recliners in the lounges after a day of Hurtigruten excursions and activities.

MS Nordnorge is named after ‘northern Norway,’ which includes the counties of Nordland and Troms & Finnmark.

Built for the Coastal Voyage fleet in 1956 and extensively modernized in 2000 for exclusive Arctic sailing, MS Nordstjernen now takes explorers on adventures around Spitsbergen.

The vessel’s name, “Polarlys,” means “Polar Lights” in Norwegian, referring to the Northern Lights.

Undergoing refurbishment in spring 2023, MS Trollfjord pays homage to Norwegian nature and Hurtigruten’s 130-year heritage of sailing the Norwegian coast.
