Setting Foot in Paradise
I embarked on this mesmerizing journey with Emirates, which offers superb connections to the Maldives (other flight options are available). Upon landing, the Club Med Team warmly greeted us and whisked us away to the dock for a boat ride to our own little slice of paradise.
Club Med Kani: A Tropical Hideaway As our boat gracefully docked, we were met by the friendly team ready to guide us to our rooms. Club Med Kani is nothing short of a gem, with its white sandy beaches, azure blue waters, and a vibrant marine life scene. The all-inclusive package treated us to beachside cocktails while we marvelled at fish swimming close to shore and crabs doing their beachside strolls.
The resort spoils you with two restaurants—an expansive buffet and a tempting A la Carte option. Special events like White Nights, featuring circus shows and dancing by the pool, added an extra touch of magic. We snagged a stay in the Exclusive Collection Overwater Villas, giving us a Robinson Crusoe-like experience with our own private beach bar, concierge, and a slice of beach to call our own.
These water villas come with a personal deck and balcony, perfect for spontaneous snorkelling sessions and marine life gazing. The resort staff, always beaming with smiles, made our stay extraordinary, offering organized snorkelling trips, sailing adventures, and a variety of classes.
Club Med Finolhu: Your Luxe Escape Club Med Kani has a sister property, Finolhu, which offers plush accommodation in beach villas or overwater villas. Our beach villa in Finolhu even had a private pool and a personal butler! This private haven is perfect for special occasions, and you can even enjoy a floating breakfast in your own pool for that envy-inducing Instagram post.
Both resorts craft a private island paradise that goes beyond expectations. The Maldives strikes a perfect balance between activities and relaxation, making it the ultimate spot to disconnect and unwind. I am already daydreaming about returning and wholeheartedly recommend Club Med for an unforgettable experience.
