Dubai Holidays 2022/23

Dubai is one of the most popular cities in the United Arab Emirates, known for its futuristic buildings, world-class hotels, out-of-this-world attractions and incredible shopping. Dubai has developed into one of the most luxurious destinations on the planet, with many visitors returning time and time again. With beautiful skyscrapers, idyllic beaches and an air of luxury at every turn, Dubai encompasses the jet set city life with an indulgent beach holiday like no other.

The Burj Khalifa, which starred alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, is famously the world’s tallest building. It has two observation decks, one of which – on the 148th floor – is the tallest observation deck in the world. You may also want to watch the sun set from At.mosphere, the world’s highest restaurant, on the 122nd floor.

At the foot of the Burj Khalifa is the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall with over 1,200 shops selling everything imaginable and often at fantastic prices, and literally hundreds of food and drink outlets. This is also where you will find the world-renowned Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo and the Dubai Fountain, an astonishing water, music and light experience that involves powerful water jets shooting up to 22,000 gallons of water as high as 140m into the air. For the best seats in the house head for the Dubai Fountain Lake Ride or the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk, a floating platform just a few meters from the fountains.

Dubai has all the ingredients for an unforgettable action-packed breakwater and theme parks, every water sport imaginable and even skiing (on real snow!) – but make time to visit one of the many souks, take a traditional abra across the Dubai Creek for the best views of the iconic skyline, or venture out of the city to one of the other emirates.
