Day 1 | Arrive in Nairobi

Day 2 | Amboseli National Park

Travel by safari vehicle to Amboseli National Park. After lunch, enjoy wildlife viewing, with the chance to see elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Stay for two nights at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Day 3 | Amboseli National Park

Full day exploring Amboseli on morning and afternoon safari drives, searching for elephants, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other wildlife.

Day 4 | Tarangire National Park

Cross the border into Tanzania at Namanga, stopping for lunch in Arusha before continuing to Tarangire. Overnight at Kirurumu Tarangire or similar.

Day 5 | Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Highlands

Enjoy an early safari drive, time permitting, before exploring Lake Manyara National Park and enjoying a picnic lunch. Continue to the Ngorongoro Highlands for a two-night stay at Pamoja Farm Villa.

Day 6 | Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater in search of the Big Five. Explore its forests and open plains, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, hippos, wildebeest and zebra. Picnic lunch in the crater.

Day 7 | Serengeti National Park

Travel via Olduvai Gorge to the vast Serengeti plains, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration and abundant year-round wildlife. Stay for two nights at Pamoja Serengeti Camp.

Day 8 | Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day on safari across the Serengeti, searching for the Big Five and a wealth of other wildlife.

Day 9 | Fly to the Masai Mara

Transfer to the airstrip and fly via Tarime and Migori to Kenya’s famous Masai Mara. Arrive in the afternoon and stay for two nights at Zebra Plains Camp, with an optional safari drive.

Day 10 | Masai Mara

Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon safari drives in the wildlife-rich Masai Mara. Between July and August, there may be opportunities to witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration. An optional hot-air balloon ride is also available.

Day 11 | Lake Naivasha

Travel to Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Learn about conservation pioneer Joy Adamson, sample speciality teas and visit the local museum. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge.

Day 12 | Nairobi & Fly to the UK

Transfer to Nairobi and enjoy use of a day room at the Tamarind Tree Hotel, with time for an optional excursion before your evening flight home.
