The heart and soul of Tibet, Lhasa is the capital city on the roof of the world. A modern city on first appearance, but at its core you’ll step back into a world where pilgrims make their way around the Barkor Circuit to the fascinating Jokhang Temple, locals dress in traditional costume and old prayer wheels creak as they spin.

Day 1 – Arrive in Lhasa
Arrive in Lhasa before transferring to your hotel. Once checked in, the rest of the day is at leisure
Day 2 – Sacred Lhasa
Sightseeing includes a visit to Barkhor Circuit as well as Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s most sacred temple. Afterwards, head to Sera Monastery

Day 3 – Potala Palace
Explore Potala Palace, an architectural wonder that towers over the city. Later, visit Norbulingka, the former summer residence of the Dalia Lama.

Day 4 – Depart Lhasa
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight
