Days 1-2: New Delhi

Begin your Indian adventure at the airport, and board your flight from London Heathrow to New Delhi. On arrival on Day 2, meet your local Tour Manager then transfer to your hotel, the 5* Crowne Plaza Okhla.

Day 3: To Agra

This morning, you embark on a guided tour of beautiful Old Delhi, enjoying a rickshaw ride through the buzzing and lively streets nestled within the Old Town of India’s colourful city.

Day 4: Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

This morning, you enjoy an early morning trip to the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This white marble structure was built for Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved wife of the Emperor Shah Jahan, and it is her tomb that is located in the very centre of the building.

Day 5: Fatehpur Sikri

Explore Fatehpur Sikri this morning. This incredible city was built in the 16th century and was meant to become the capital for the Mughal Empire.

Day 6: Ranthambore National Park

You head into Ranthambore National Park today for a morning and an afternoon game drive. Here, you have the chance to spot many rare animals, including leopards and panthers.

Day 7: To Jaipur

This morning, you are at leisure. After lunch, transfer by coach to Jaipur, where you check in to our hotel.

Day 8: Jaipur

Today is spent exploring the marvellous ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. Start your tour with a trip by Jeep to the Amber Fort, an ancient sandstone building that was used as the royal stronghold. After time to explore the myriad of rooms, filled with wall paintings, mirrors, and precious stones, transfer over to the City Palace, the home to the current Maharaja of Jaipur.

Day 9: At leisure in Jaipur

Today can either be spent at leisure, or on one of two optional tours. You may like to go to the Albert Hall Museum, which serves as the state museum of Rajasthan, followed by a visit to the stunning white Birla Temple (payable locally).

Day 10: Home

Transfer to the airport, where you fly back to London Heathrow via Mumbai.

The family-run Ranthambore Regency Hotel is located close to Ranthambore National Park, and specialises in tiger-spotting tours.
