Day 1 – Overnight flight to Delhi

Take your overnight flight to Delhi

Day 2 – New Delhi

Transfer to New Delhi for a one night stay. After a short rest, take a guided tour of New Delhi, seeing the Presidential Palace and the Qutub Minar as well as various other monuments. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your own restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Day 3 – Old Delhi

Visit Old Delhi, with a guided tour from the Salaam Baalak Trust. See the city through the eyes of the children who used to live on the streets and hear their stories as you visit lesser known attractions. After the tour hop aboard a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, home to the busiest markets in the city. Seek out a local restaurant for lunch before leaving for Agra by train, arriving in the afternoon.

Day 4 – Taj Mahal

Rise early to catch the sun rising over the Taj Mahal. Spend some time marvelling at this wonder. Continue onto the Agra Fort before having some free time in the afternoon. There’s a choice of excursion available this evening, including a return to the Taj Mahal for the sunset or seeing Mohabat-e-Taj. Alternatively, visit the Baby Taj and the Moonlight Garden

Day 5 – Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast, depart Agra and continue to the ancient abandoned Fatehpur Sikri. Wander through this fortified city and see the palaces, courtyards and carvings. Later on, arrive in Jaipur, ‘the Pink City’.

Day 6 – Jaipur & Amber Fort

Visit the immense Amber Fort, with a guided tour of the interior. After lunch at your leisure, visit the city palace and the Jantar Mantar, a historical observatory.

Day 7 – Flight to Mumbai

After breakfast, fly to Mumbai. After checking in to the Taj Mahal Palace hotel, take a tour of the hotel and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.

Day 8 – Mumbai

Embark on a tour of Mumbai’s cultural and historical sites, including the ‘Gateway to India’, the Prince of Wales Museum, the Flora Fountain and the Gandhi Museum. Venture into the city in the evening for dinner

Day 9 – Flight to Dabolim

Fly to Goa for a five-night stay on the coast

Days 10-13 – Free days

Sit back and relax as you spend four days in a comfortable beach location. On day 11, there is an optional afternoon tour that shows you the sights of Goa, revealing the area’s history.

Day 14 – Return flight

Transfer to the airport for your flight home
