Day 1: Fly to Colombo
Overnight flight from London (regional connections available) to Colombo

Day 2: Chilaw
On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Chilaw before enjoying a welcome dinner with your group.

Day 3: Anuradhapura
Drive to the region of Anuradhapura. En route, visit Wilpattu National Park for an afternoon wildlife safari.

Day 4: Wilpattu National Park • Anuradhapura
Morning safari in Wilpattu National Park before an afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Anuradhapura • Habarana
Drive to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, home to fabulous Buddhist shrines and relics. Then, travel to Habarana.

Day 6: Habarana • Sigiriya
Transfer to Sigiriya and visit the famous rock fortress. Learn about Sri Lankan cuisine during a cooking demonstration before having an afternoon at leisure.

Day 7: Sigiriya • Polonnaruwa
Visit the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa. Take an afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park.

Day 8: Dambulla • Kandy
Morning visit to Dambulla, home to Asia’s most impressive and well-preserved cave temples. Continue to the hill station of Kandy

Day 9: Kandy
In the morning, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dance performance and visit the Temple of the Tooth for the evening puja ceremony.

Day 10: Nuwara Eliya
Take a train journey to Nanu Oya in the Nuwara Eliya area.

Day 11: Horton Plains
Early morning visit to Horton Plains National Park, situated on Sri Lanka’s highest plateau (this excursion involves a 2.5-hour walk*). The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 12: Wadduwa
Drive to Wadduwa, a beach town on the west coast and check into your luxury resort.

Day at leisure to relax on the beach. Farewell dinner with the group.

Transfer to Colombo and fly to London with Sri Lankan Airlines.
