Day 1 – Fly to Calgary
Arrive at the airport for your direct flight to Calgary

Day 2 – Calgary
Start your spectacular journey from Calgary through the rolling landscape of Alberta. For the next three nights, stay in the spa resort of Banff.

Day 3 – Banff
This morning, travel down the stunning Icefields Parkway, with brilliant mountain vistas. The first stop is the famous Lake Louise, followed by Peyto Lake. Finally, see the Columbia Icefield, the largest in the Rockies. If the weather permits, ride on a giant ‘Snocoach’ across the Athabasca Glacier before returning to Banff

Day 4 – Banff Free day
Today, have a free day in Banff, with a selection of activities available in the local area, including helicopter trips, rides up the gondola or walks.

Day 5 – Rocky Mountaineer Train
This morning set off on a spectacular two-day journey on the Rocky Mountaineer train. Today, the train will take you across the Continental Divide and through the famed spiral tunnels before crossing the Stoney Creek bridge. Throughout the journey, the on-board commentary highlights the history of the railway and the towns it passes.

During the journey, enjoy SilverLeaf service for breakfast and lunch. SilverLeaf service includes excellent hot meals served at your seat on each day including complimentary snacks, tea and coffee, non-alcoholic drinks, plus beer and house wine with lunch, all served at your seat.

Day 6 – Vancouver
Continue your journey to Vancouver. Following the Fraser and Thomson River canyons, passing the Jaws of Death Gorge, Avalanche Alley and Hell’s Gate Canyon, we criss-cross the river many times as we travel through some of British Columbia’s most scenic country. We finally reach Vancouver during the afternoon after a truly once-in-a-lifetime journey.

Day 7 – Vancouver
This morning tour the city stopping at Stanley Park and Prospect Point. The afternoon is at leisure to continue exploring the city independently.

Day 8 – Return Flight
This morning is at leisure before you transfer to the airport for your flight home

Day 9 – Arrive back
Arrive back in the UK the following day
