Day 1 – Fly to Calgary
Arrive at the airport for your flight to Calgary.
Day 2 – Calgary
Today, begin the exciting journey from Calgary across the rolling landscapes of Alberta towards the Rocky Mountains.
Day 3 – Banff
This morning, travel along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most picturesque roads. Stop at the famous Lake Louise and Petyo Lake before venturing the Columbia Icefield. Weather permitting, you’ll get the chance to ride across the Athabasca Glacier before returning to Banff.
Day 4 – Free day
Today is at leisure, giving you a chance to explore the area and maybe take part in some of the activities that operate out of the area including helicopter trips, rides up the Banff gondola.
Day 5 – Rocky Mountaineer Train
Set off on one of the world’s greatest train journeys as you journey through the rugged terrain of Alberta and British Columbia. Today, complete the first day of this 585-mile journey, ending in the town of Kamloops where you’ll stay overnight.
Day 6 – Vancouver
Continue on the second leg of your train journey, passing through some of British Columbia’s most scenic landscapes before arriving in Vancouver in the afternoon.
Day 7 – Vancouver
Take a morning tour of the city, visiting Stanley Park and Prospect point before having the afternoon at leisure.
Day 8 – Embark MS Koningsdam
Today, you’ll board the MS Koningsdam to behin your Alaskan Inside Passage cruise.
Day 9 – At Sea
The first day of this cruise is spent at sea and gives you the perfect opportunity to get used to the ship and take in the amazing views of Alaska. The ship offers plenty of onboard talks and activities.
Day 10 – Juneau
Spend the morning cruising to the Tracy Arm Inlet, from which you can take an excursions to see the Sawyer Glaciers. After lunch, the ship arrives in Juneau, Alaska’s state capital. Here you’ll find a varying selection of onshore excursions available in the surrounding area.
Day 11 – Skagway
This ship arrives in Skagway early this morning, where it remains all day giving you the chance to explore this history gateway to the Klondike gold region. The extra shore excursions available include helicopter sightseeing trips and excursions along the famous Yukon railroad.
Day 12 – Glacier Bay
Today the ship slowly enters the Glacier Bay National Park, spending the day cruising this huge area. During the day, enjoy specialist commentary and discussions with National Park service rangers.
Day 13 – Ketchikan
After a morning of cruising, arrive in the small town of Ketchikan where a number of breathtaking trips are available.
Day 14 – At Sea
Spend a final day at sea as your return through the Inside Passage.
Day 15 – Return Flight
The ship arrives back in Vancouver in the morning, and you’ll have some free time in the city before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
Day 16 – Arrive home
Arrive back in the UK.

MS Koningsdam
The first of Holland America Line’s Pinnacle-class ships, the 2,650-passenger MS Koningsdam was launched in 2016 and boasts more outside Ocean View and Verandah staterooms than most other ships in Alaska. The Promenade deck goes right round the ship with plenty of classic teak deck chairs to relax in, whilst its stunning three-deck atrium and spacious public rooms are adorned with a wide variety of art and antiques.

Along with a valid passport, UK citizens must have an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) in order to travel to Canada. British passport holders do not require a visa under the USA Visa Waiver Programme, but must now apply online for authorisation.
