Set right in the village centre with walks starting directly from the doorstep, the Edelweiss & Gurgl is one of Obergurgl’s leading hotels and has long been a favourite with Inghams guests. It offers an unrivalled range of activities and facilities for those who want to make the most of the stunning mountain setting and views. Run by our good friends the Scheiber family, it is also known for its high standards of food and service. There is a daily programme of guided walks with qualified mountain guides, and guests can even hike up to the hotel’s own mountain retreat, the ‘Ramol hut’ at 3,000m, for an overnight stay and traditional Tyrolean dinner. Families are well catered for with a daily activity club for adults and children, plus a full horse-riding school providing lessons and hacks. The hotel is traditionally furnished to a high standard throughout, with a superb spa and indoor/ outdoor pool area and a conservatory and terrace to enjoy the wonderful south-facing valley views.
