Day 1 – Arrival in Seefeld

Fly to Munich from where you’ll transfer by coach to Seefeld, your home for the next seven nights

Day 2 – Discover: Innsbruck

After breakfast, take a short drive to Innsbruck. Join a local guide on a walking tour of the city’s historical sights including the cathedral and the Imperial Palace. Return to Seefeld in the afternoon, with the rest of the day at leisure

Day 3 – Walk: Seefeld

Seefeld is renowned for its cross-country skiing and walking trails. After breakfast, embark on one of two walks to explore.

Today is free for you to relax and enjoy the attractions surrounding Seefeld.

Day 5 – Walk: Lake Achensee

This morning, drive to Lake Achensee, arriving in the village of Pertisau. After some free time to wander around, set off on a guided walk

Day 6 – Discover: Neuschwanstein Castle

Today, drive into Germany along the Romantic Road and the grand German Alpine Road, arriving at the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle. Explore the castle on a guided tour.

Day 7 – Walk: Wilder Kaiser

Travel to the medieval town of Kufstein, near the magnificent Wilder Kaiser mountains. Take a chairlift to the Brentejoch mountain station, the starting point of both of today’s walks.

Central Hotel, Seefeld

The 4* Central Hotel Seefeld is a modern yet traditional Alpine style family-owned hotel.

Walking equipment
Good quality walking shoes or boots are a must. Riviera also recommend a waterproof jacket, comfortable rucksack, hat, sunglasses, sun cream, water bottle and clothes that can be layered easily. Hiking poles are not necessary, but you may wish to take them.

Walking difficulty
There is often a choice between a ‘green’ and ‘blue’ option. A reasonable level of fitness is essential for all walks – while the green walk should suit most travellers, the blue option is perfect for those who prefer a bit more of a challenge.

Routes
While guides will always try to adhere to the route as advertised, they may be required to modify the itinerary due to local conditions. Our guides may also make minor changes to tailor the walk to the group.
