Alana Beachclub is now available on an accommodation only basis for Summer 2024 holidays.
At Alana, you can enjoy all the usual activities, with the Beachclub facing out to large bay, giving you plenty of space to enjoy the water sports on offer. Take some tuition on dinghy sailing and windsurfing or head out on a paddle board or kayaking to explore and admire the coastline. The calmness of the water in the morning also makes Alana a great destination for water skiing and wakeboarding, with two free tows per week on offer for each guest. This Beachclub is also one of only two that offers wakesurfing, available at an extra cost.
You’ll also find six tennis courts, giving you the perfect chance to improve your skills, with extra tennis packages for more coaching. Alana is also the ideal place for rock climbers, with climbing tuition at the resort’s climbing wall included in the holiday. Those looking for something more intense can head into the national park for a number of climbing experiences.
Neilson’s full range of kids’ clubs are on offer here, with inclusive childcare starting from age 2 and up. At these kids’ clubs, they can make new friends, try new and activities and sports as well as having fun.
There are three area of accommodation to choose from, with rooms located in the central tower and around the free-form pool and cosy cabins with wooden verandas. Guests can enjoy meals out on the restaurant’s terrace, with all breakfast and lunch, plus 4 evening meals per week included in your holiday. On the other nights, head into the town to try a local restaurant or head 45 minutes (by car) to visit the port city of Zadar, which is also full of wonderful restaurants.

All Kids’ clubs run 6 days a week: 4 days from 9.30 am-12:30 pm & 2:30 pm-5:30 pm; 2 days a week from 2:30 pm-11 pm. All children aged up to 16 years will be provided with a rash vest
Starfish Creche
4-23 months
Little ones can have plenty of fun building sandcastles, playing, painting, and splashing in the pool. Drinks, snacks, and high tea are all included during club hours.

Children will have fun experiencing new activities, including kayaking trips and tennis, as well as arts & crafts.
Sea Badgers
4-5 years
Sea badgers spend most of their time on the beach and the water. They’ll be kayaking, sailing, and riding in ski boats. There’s plenty of time to cool down in the clubhouse too.
Surfbusters
6-7 years
Kids will have the chance to try their hand at water sports including sailing and kayaking. On shore, they’ll play volleyball and tennis, before getting together in the evening.
Sharksters
8-9 years
There’s an abundance of group activities for the Sharksters to take part in during the day, before enjoying fun evening socials.
Stingrays
10-11 years
It’s all about creating friendships, working as a team and having fun for Neilson’s Stingrays. At the end of their busy day, they can look forward to movie nights and socialising with their new friends
Surf Squad
12-13 years
Whether they’re in the sea, the pool or on the beach, the Surf Squad are all about having fun. They’ll spend their days making new friends and learning new skills, before enjoying teen social evenings, including movies, games and BBQ nights.
Wave Riders
14-15 years
At Wave Riders, kids are encouraged to try as many activities as possible. If they want to try other water sports, they can join in with the adult coaching/tuition sessions.
TAG
16-17 years
Teenagers can enjoy activity sessions and join in with fun and games as well. On top of these, there’ll be evening meals, quizzes, and excursions they can join in one.
Hot Shots
8-13 years
This club is designed for those wanting to learn to sail and windsurf, with instructors teaching the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme.
6 days a week: 9:30am to 5:30 pm

Evening childcare
All Kids’ clubs offer two nights of inclusive evening childcare. There is a sleep club available on three additional evenings for those aged 4 months to 5 years, formed of two two-hour sessions between 7pm and 11pm. This is at an extra cost.
For those ages 6 to 17 years, these three extra evenings of care are free.
In the Beachclub, you’ll find a kids’ pool and play area, as well as mini golf. Neilson can also provide cots, baby baths and buggies for use during your stay. On site, there’s also a 24-hour baby room for guests with younger children.
Rooms at Alana can be found in either the central tower or on both sides of the freeform pool. In both areas, you can choose from twin, double, family, and interconnecting rooms. There are also 34 two-bedroom cabins, all of which have large wooden verandas.

At Alana Beachclub, club board dining consists of daily breakfast and lunch, as well as 4 evening meals. The inclusive evening meals night are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
On the other evenings, you can enjoy a BBQ in a resort or take a short stroll into town, where there is a selection of restaurants to choose from.
