Explore some of Croatia’s southern ports and discover the hidden gems of Bosnia & Herzegovina on this yacht cruise. Aboard the MV Corona, you’ll visit out-of-the-way ports like Pucisca, Makarska and Hvar, and touring the fascinating cities of Dubrovnik and Split. Then, head inland in Bosnia and Herzegovina to discover the beautiful countryside and historic towns and cities.
Day 1: Arrive in Dubrovnik
Fly to Dubrovnik, and transfer to the harbour where you’ll board the yacht. Depending on your arrival time, you may have time to explore the town before dinner onboard.
Day 2: Dubrovnik and Mljet
As you enjoy breakfast, the yacht leaves the harbour, heading for the island of Mljet. Once here, head ashore to the islet of St Mary’s and visit its former Benedictine monastery.
Day 3: Mljet, Makarska and Pucisca
After breakfast, the ship departs from Mljet, sailing north towards the mainland. You’ll drop anchor in the port of Makarska, where you have free time to wander and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, sail to the island of Brac, stopping in the spectacular village of Pucisca. Here you’re free to explore or relax on board before the Captain’s Dinner is served.
Day 4: Pucisca and Split
This morning, you continue north along the island’s coastline, with a swim stop along the way. Lunch is served onboard before you arrive in Split. Here you’ll have a guided tour of Diocletian’s huge palace. In the evening, dinner is at leisure whilst the ship remains docked.
Day 5: Split, Stari Grad and Hvar
Enjoy another swim stop as you sail to the island of Hvar. Stopping in Stari Grad, take a short drive to the old town for a guided tour, showcasing the island’s historical and culture splendours. After, transfer back to Stari Grad where dinner is at leisure.
Day 6: Stari Grad and Korcula
After another leisurely morning of sailing, the yacht arrives in the historic town of Korcula, once ruled by the Venetians. Enjoy a guided tour of the town before having the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 7: Korcula and Dubrovnik
This morning, the ship departs Korcula, with a last chance for a swim stop before continuing onto Dubrovnik. On arrival, take a guided tour of the old town, seeing its collection of cafes, monasteries, churchs and civic buildings. Afterwards, you’re free to explore independently before dinner at leisure.
Day 8: Dubrovnik. Kravice Falls and Mostar
Today, disembark the yacht and head inland, across the board into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Visit the beautiful Kravice Falls to admire the scenery before continuing to a local winery for a tasting and lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in the city of Mostar, famous for its bridge, destroyed in 1993 and rebuilt and reopened in 2004. Enjoy a guided tour, taking in the mix of architecture.
Day 9: Sarajevo
Today, head to the capital, Sarajevo. On a guided tour this morning, see the Sebilj Brunnen Fountain and Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, as well as the City Hall and Latin Bridge. There’s some free time for lunch before you visit the Tunnel of Hope Museum to learn more about the history of the city. Later, return to Mostar and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 10: Mostar, Vjetrenica and Trebinje
As you leave Mostar today, visit a local Turkish coffee house for a tasting before continuing onto Vjetrenica. Here you’ll visit a fascinating cave system, which is home to more than 200 species of animals. Then, drive to Trebinje. On arrival, enjoy some time to grab some food before a guided tour of the town in the afternoon. In the evening, sit down in the hotel for a farewell dinner.
MV Corona
Mepas Hotel, Mostar
Located in the centre of Mostar, this hotel is a convenient base for exploring the city. The hotel itself features a wellness centre and sauna. There is also a restaurant onsite that serves a range of local and international dishes. The rooms are spacious and have bathrooms with bathtubs and walk in showers.
Hotel Central Park, Trebinje
This hotel overlooks the town square, and has a terrace area that’s perfect for taking in the views. The rooms are comfortable and offer king or twin beds and a modern en-suite bathroom as well as other amenities. The on-site restaurant serves an array of dishes.
