Day 1: Arrival in Paris
Fly or take the Eurostar to Paris. On arrival, transfer to the ship and spend the rest of the day settling into your cabin and exploring the ship.

Day 2: Les Andelys
After a relaxing morning on board taking in the stunning views, arrive in the historic little town of Les Andelys. After lunch, visit Château Gaillard, built by Richard the Lionheart, and learn about its history.

Day 3: Rouen
Wake up in Rouen, one of Europe’s finest medieval cities, and discover its Gothic cathedral and historic old town on a guided tour. Spend the afternoon cruising the scenic Seine past the ruins of Jumièges Abbey before arriving in Caudebec-en-Caux, where the day concludes with an on-board jazz-swing performance inspired by the 1940s.

Day 4: Bayeux & Arromanches or Taste of Normandy
Today, choose between an immersive journey through Normandy’s D-Day history, visiting Bayeux and key landing sites such as Gold Beach, Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc, or a Taste of Normandy tour featuring local cheese, cider and calvados tastings. Whichever excursion you select, you’ll enjoy a fascinating insight into the region’s rich heritage, culture and traditions before returning to the ship in Caudebec-en-Caux.

Day 5: Honfleur
Discover the charm of Honfleur, one of Normandy’s most picturesque towns, on a guided tour of its historic harbour and colourful waterfront. Afterwards, choose to spend more time exploring at your own pace before enjoying a relaxing afternoon cruise along the Seine towards Vernon, taking in the region’s scenic countryside and riverside villages.

Day 6: Giverny & Vernon
Visit Claude Monet’s house and famous gardens in Giverny, home to the water lily pond that inspired many of his masterpieces, before exploring the historic riverside town of Vernon. Later, relax on board as you cruise towards Paris and enjoy a special Chef’s Dinner featuring the ship’s signature dishes.

Day 7: Paris
Discover Paris your way with a choice of a panoramic coach tour or a guided walking tour, taking in iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and the Louvre. Spend the afternoon exploring the city at your leisure before returning to the ship for an evening of traditional French music performed by a professional accordionist.

Day 8: Return Home
Transfer to the train station or airport for your return journey

Museum of Impressionism

Visit to a cider farm with tasting
Visit a typical Vexin Normandy farmhouse, where you’ll explore the orchard and apple presses and taste their delicious cider and other apple-based drinks.
This optional excursion can be done with a shorter visit to Château Gaillard.

Montmatre/Sacre Coeur guided tour
Join a guided tour to the Parisian neighbourhood of Montmatre, where you’ll take a land train to Sacre-Coeur. Stop and take some time to explore, perhaps heading up to the basilica’s dome.

Bateaux Parisien sightseeing cruise
Take an evening cruise along the Seine to see the city’s landmarks lit up including the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral. During the cruise you’ll have an audio guide in English which offers stories and anecdotes about the city.
