Day 1 – Arrival in Athens
Fly to Athens. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2 – Acropolis
This morning, take a short tour of Athens before heading to the Acropolis, seeing the marvellous Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum. After, explore the old district of Plaka, home to plenty of welcoming tavernas to choose from for lunch. In the afternoon, leave Athens and drive through Thebes to Mount Parnassus.

Day 3 – Delphi
Today, explore the monuments of Delphi, one of the most important places in Ancient Greece. Discover the sacred sanctuary and its treasuries and the museum, which has some of the finest exhibits in the country. In the afternoon, drive through the countryside and cross the Rio bridge that spans the Gulf of Corinth, before arriving in Olympia.

Day 4 – Olympia
Enjoy a fascinating tour of ancient Olympia in the morning, learning more about the site, with a visit to the excellent museum here. Later in the day, drive to the coast, where you’ll arrive in the seaside town of Nafplion.

Day 5 – Mycenae & Epidaurus
In the morning, visit Epidaurus, whose sanctuary of Asclepios was one of the important centres of medicine in the classical world. You’ll also find a magnificent ancient theatre here. Then, visit Mycenae, entering the citadel through its magnificent 3,300 year old Lion Gate.

Day 6 – Free day
Today is free for you to enjoy the charming town of Nafplion. Alternatively, join an optional trip to the islands of Spetses and Hydra.

Day 7 – Athens
Say goodbye to Nafplion and head bac to Athens. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 8 – Return home
At the appropriate time, transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
