Day 1: Arrival At Lake Como
Fly in to Milan. On arrival, transfer to your hotel on Lake Como’s lakefront before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Lake Como & Bellagio
This morning, take private boat ride to the beautiful Villa del Balbionello. Take a private tour of the villa and its gardens. Later in the day, cross the lake to reach Bellagio. Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: The Bernina Express
Travel through alpine valleys to reach the town of Tirano where you’ll board the famous Bernina Express. Travel up to Ospizio Bernina before descending to the Swiss resort of St Moritz. After some free time, return to Lake Como.

Day 4: Lake Maggiore & Stresa
This morning, travel to the nearby Lake Maggiore, arriving in the town of Stresa. Take a stroll down the promenade before a boat trip to Isola Bella. Here you’ll tour the Baroque Palazzo.

Day 5: Free day
Today you are free to explore as you wish. Enjoy a delicious Italian coffee in one of the pleasant cafés. Alternatively you may decide to take the boat to the lakeside town of Como or visit the gardens of Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo. From 2027, you’ll have included entry to Villa Carlotta, home to magnificent gardens as well as a beautiful interior you can admire.

Day 6: Lugano
Cross the border into Switzerland to visit Lugano, capital of the Italian speaking canton of Ticino. You’re free to explore at leisure until returning to your hotel for dinner. In 2027, you’ll start your time in Lugano with a trip up Monte San Salvatore on the funicular, where you can stay and explore, or head back down to the town.

Day 7: Free day
Spend the day as you wish, either using the ferries to visit the villages along the lake or simply relaxing in the hotel.

Day 8: Return Flight
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Hotel Bazzoni, Tremezzo
This functional 3-star hotel is situated in the small village of Tremezzo, overlooking Lake Como from the main road. The rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, tv, safe and wi-fi. On site, there’s a garden with outdoor pool and several dining venues.

Please note the use of air conditioning and outdoor pool opening is at the discretion of the hotels. The pools usually operate from mid-May to early October, depending on weather conditions.
