Welcome to Amsterdam! We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your luxurious floating home for the next 15 days. You’ll have time to unpack, relax and get acquainted with your ship, as the excitement builds for everything that’s about to come.

Spend today on your preferred activity, chosen from the ‘Freedom of Choice’ activities. Then rejoin the ship in Utrecht before cruising towards Germany

Day 3: Andernach
This morning, cruise through Germany enjoying the onboard facilities. In the afternoon, disembark in Andernach to visit Namedy Castle where you’ll be welcomed by Princess Heide von Hohenzollern. Explore the castle before a cocktail party with a pianist.

Day 4: Rüdesheim
Sail through one of the Rhine’s most scenic sections and dock in Rüdesheim where you can choose from a number of ‘Freedom of Choice’ experiences.

Day 5: Miltenberg
Leaving the Rhine, head down the Main to Miltenberg. From here, you’ll set off on your selected ‘Freedom of Choice’ activity.

This morning, you’ll arrive in Bamberg. Explore the old town with a guide, discovering its historic buildings including the town hall on the Regnitz River. Rejoin the ship to cruise onto the Main-Danube Canal

This morning enjoy another ‘Freedom of Choice’ experience before spending the afternoon sailing. Enjoy a Bavarian beer, sausage and pretzel tasting on the Daystar deck.

Day 10: Passau, Salzburg, Linz
Take a guided tour of Salzburg before dining in a traditional restaurant on Gaisberg Mountain. After being welcomed by a Jagdhornbläser – a hunting horn blower – you’ll enjoy a welcome drink followed by luch and a show feature music from The Sound of Music.

Day 11: Melk, Dürnstein
This morning, explore the spectacular Melk Abbey, one of the world’s most famous monastic sites. Then, head to Dürnstein via your ‘Freedom of Choice’ Experience

Day 12: Vienna
This morning, you’ll arrive in Vienna. Set out on a city tour where you’ll see many of its landmarks along the Ringstrasse, as well as St Stephen’s Cathedral. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before heading to an exclusive cocktail reception and private recital at the Liechtenstein princely family’s City Palace in central Vienna, featuring orchestral works by Mozart and Strauss and an enchanting operatic performance.

Day 13: Vienna
Enjoy more time to explore Vienna this morning with a selection of ‘Freedom of Choice’ Experiences. Then, sail for Hungary later in the day.

Day 14: Budapest
This morning, explore the city on one of the ‘Freedom of Choice’ Experiences before having the rest of the afternoon at leisure.. Then in the evening, gather onboard for a performance of Hungarian folk music while you enjoy artisan meats and cheese as well as local brandy.

Day 15: Disembark Ship, Depart Budapest
After a final delicious breakfast on board, it is time to bid farewell to your new-found friends as you disembark your luxurious river ship for the last time in Budapest. Upon disembarkation, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
