Day 1: Arrival in Sicily
Fly to Catania. On arrival, travel to Agrigento and check into the hotel.

Day 2: Valley of the Temples
This morning, visit the ancient Greek ruins in the Valley of the Temples. On a guided tour of the site, see Concordia, similar in design to the Parthenon and discover the finds houses in the museum. Afterwards, head back to Agrigento for some free time before returning to the hotel for the afternoon.

Day 3: Cefalu
Drive through the mountains to the coast, arriving in Cefalu. Take a short orientation walk before having the rest of the day to take in the sights or relax on the beach. Continue to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4: Free day in Cefalu
Spend a full day at leisure in Cefalu

Day 5: Palermo
Take a scenic drive along the coast to arrive in the city of Palermo, the island’s capital. Spend the morning on a guided tour, visiting the Norman Palace. You’ll have some free time to explore before heading to a 5* hotel for afternoon tea.

Day 6: Villa Romana del Casale
Leave Cefalu this morning and drive to Piazza Armerina, home to the Villa Romama del Casale, one of the best-preserved Roman villas. See the remains of frescoes and mosaics on a tour before heading to a local agriturismo for lunch. Enjoy a home-cooked meal featuring local produce before continuing your journey to Taormina.

Day 7: Taormina
Head into Taormina for a day at leisure, perhaps exploring the gardens or visiting the famous ancient theatre. Enjoy an aperitivo and a selection of delicacies as you take in the views of Taormina and the coastline.

Day 8: Syracuse
Drive to Syracuse which you can explore at your own pace. Head to the old town, Ortygia, connecting to the mainland by three bridges. Visit Piazza Archimedes or the Cathedral and Basco Palace. Later on, you’ll have the option to take a boat ride around Ortygia while enjoying a refreshing drink.

Day 9: Free day
The whole day is free for you to spend either in or around the hotel in Giardini Naxos. Or you can travel back to Taormina to carry on exploring or to head to the beach.

Day 10: Mount Etna
This morning, take the drive to as near Mount Etna’s summit as possible. From the cable car station, you can enjoy great views over the surrounding area. If the conditions allow, you may get the chance to head higher up the volcano. After you visit to Mount Etna, you’ll head to a winery for delicious lunch paired with local wine.

Day 11: Return Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home

Located a few miles from Agrigento, this stylish hotel has a restaurant bar and a fitness centre, as well as its own private beach

Alberi del Paradiso, Cefalu – 4*
Sitting on a small hill behind Cefalu, this hotel is the perfect place to relax. You’ll find a restaurant serving local and international cuisine, as well as swimming pool and spa area.

Hotel Sant Alphio Garden, Giardini Naxos – 4*
This hotel is in charming town of Giardini Naxos, near to Taormina and Mount Etna, and sits by the seafront. Here you’ll find a restaurant, bars, an outdoor pool, and a private beach. The rooms are modern, and all have a terrace or balcony.
