Day 1 – Fly to Istanbul
Fly to Istanbul and transfer to your hotel
Day 2 – Old Istanbul
Explore some of the city’s landmark sites, stopping at the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque before continuing onto the marvellous Hagia Sofia. Later, visit the Topkapi Palace and venture into the Grand Bazaar
Day 3 – Bosporus Strait
Discover the hidden gems of the Fener and Balat districts before enjoying a private cruise along the Bosporus where you can enjoy views of the surrounding sites such as Rumeli fortress and Beylerbeyl Palace.
Day 4 – Gallipoli Peninsula
Visit the Cape Helles Memorial
Day 5 – Troy and Pergamon
Visit the site of the ancient city of Troy and learn some of its history. After, continue to Pergamon, famed for its Acropolis and theatre. Enjoy a home cooked Turkish meal before heading to your hotel in Selcuk
Day 6 – Ephesus and Sirince
Explore one of the ancient world’s most famous cities, Ephesus. Well preserved, the ruins paint a vivid picture. After lunch, relax in the countryside as you visit the village of Sirince
Day 7 – Magnesia
Today, enjoy an exclusive tour of the ruins of Magnesia, home to archaeological sites not usually open to the public. Later, journey onwards to Pamukkale and enjoy its thermal waters
Day 8 – Pamukkale
Explore the spa city of Hierapolils, where calcium pools cascade down the mountains.
Day 9 – Antalya
Drive to the ancient Greek city of Perge to explore some of the most beautiful Hellenistic and Roman ruins in Turkey. Next discover ancient Aspendos, home to the best-preserved Roman theatre in the Mediterranean, and then visit the beautiful Manavgat Falls en route back to Antalya. In the afternoon relax and unwind on a 2-hour private boat tour along the attractive shoreline.
Day 10 – Konya
Head to the traditional town of Konya and visit the Mevlana Museum, home to the mausoleum of Rumi, founder of the Order of the Whirling Dervishes
Day 11 – Sultanhani Caravanserai
Today, visit one of the former resting points along the silk. Sultanhani Caravanserai is one of the best preserved of these outposts in Turkey. Continue onto to Cappadocia
Days 12-13 – Cappadocia
Enjoy a full day tour of this stunning region, famous for its unusual rock formations. The next day, visit the Ihlara Valley, home to ancient churches and dwellings. Enjoy a lunch in a traditional Cappadocian home, where you can spend time with a local family and enjoy authentic food and great hospitality
Day 14 – Istanbul
During the penultimate day of your journey, travel to Istanbul for a one-night stay. While here, embark on a historical visit to Kumkapi, on the Sea of Marmara, where you’ll be able to indulge in the region’s excellent seafood cuisine during your evening meal.
Day 15 – Departure
Head to Istanbul airport and board your return flight home.

Cape Helles Memorial
Pay your respects to the fallen soldiers at Gallipoli, the site of the ill-fated Gallipoli campaign. Afterwards, raise a glass at sunset overlooking the Dardanelles – scene of so many conflicts including the great Trojan War.

Enjoy a spectacular Whirling Dervish performance at the historical Saruhan Caravanserai
Cook in Cappadocia
