Day 1: Fly to Amman
Fly from London (regional connections available) to Amman. Transfer to your hotel for a 2-night stay.

Day 2: Jerash • Amman
Take a tour of the Greco-Roman city of Jerash. In the afternoon, tour Amman, where you’ll see the Temple of Hercules and the National Archaeological Museum, followed by the Roman theatre. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 3: Madaba • Mount Nebo • Shobak • Petra
Travel along the King’s Way, visiting Madaba, home to a Byzantine mosaic map of the region; Mount Nebo, from where Moses first viewed the Holy Land; and the crusader castle of Shobak. Continue to Petra. Stay 3 nights at the Mövenpick Resort Petra, situated at the entrance to the site.

Day 4: Petra
Take a guided tour of Petra, the rose-red city which was the capital of the Nabataeans.

Day 5: Petra
Return to the main site for more exploration with your guide. Optional evening visit to Petra by candlelight.

Day 6: Little Petra • Wadi Rum • Dead Sea
Morning visit to Al Beidha and ‘Little Petra’, before driving to Wadi Rum for a 4×4 excursion into the desert. Afternoon transfer to the Dead Sea.

Day 7: Dead Sea
Day at leisure. Optional morning excursion to the baptism site of Jesus in Bethany, on the banks of the River Jordan. In the evening, enjoy a farewell drink.
