Day 1: Bergen

Your 7-day expedition to the high north starts in Bergen, a city surrounded by seven mountains. Before departure you may wish to explore this cultural gateway to the fjords.

Day 2: Florø – Molde

Opt-in for a visit to Atlanterhavsparken and visit the penguins

Day 3: Kristiansund, Trondheim, RØrvik

You can explore Trondheim from sea level in a kayak along the river Nid from June to September. Or experience Trondheim on a bicycle and try out the world’s only bicycle lift from April to September.

Day 4: BrØnnØysund, SandnessjØen, Nesna, Ørnes, BodØ, Stamsund, SvolvÅr

Today you cross the Arctic Circle.

Day 5: Stokmarknes, Sortland, RisØyhamn, Harstad, Finnsnes, TromsØ, SkjervØy

In summer, you can join the Expedition Team for explorer boat activities and discover more of Tromsø and its surroundings.

Day 6: Øksfjord, Hammerfest, HavØysund, HonningsvÅg, KjØllefjord, Mehamn, BerlevÅg.

If you want to learn more about local life in this remote region, join the fishing village tour that takes you through the island of Magerøya.

Day 7: BÅtsfjord, VardØ, VadsØ, Kirkenes.

This is Hurtigruten’s turning point for the return journey southwards. Kirkenes is known as the capital of the Barents region and gateway to the east.
