Discover a landscape of towering mountains, deep forests, waterfalls and tiny fjord-side villages as you follow the twists and turns of Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. Cruise the length of Sognefjord to Flam, follow Nordfjord deep into the Norwegian interior to Olden, which lies between the fjord and the immense icy cliff-face of the Briksdal Glacier, and sail into the beautiful scenery of Geirangerfjord.
Opportunities to head deep into the astonishing fjordland landscape on optional shore excursions, lazy days at sea, and day exploring the streets, markets and lovingly regenerated warehouse district of Bergen, the unofficial capital of the fjords, round off your cruise adventure.

By the Hardangerfjord lies the small community of Eidfjord. Here you can experience culture and dramatic scenery, close to the fjord to the mountain plateau.
At the innermost bank of the Aurlandsfjord, surrounded by steep mountains, thundering waterfalls and narrow valleys, you’ll find the small village of Flåm. Amongst popular things to do in Flåm are fishing in the Flåmselvi river or conquering Rallarvegen (“The Navvies’ Road”), one of the most scenic bicycle rides in Norway.
Geiranger is a small village at the very end of the famous Geirangerfjord, included on the prestigious UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites. The whole area surrounding this tiny village is spectacular, and visiting Geiranger you can expect dramatic fjord landscape, beautiful nature and cultural experiences.
Here you can go sightseeing on the fjord and see the mighty waterfalls, abandoned farms high up in the mountains, and find spectacular panoramic views from several vantage points.
Nordfjord is situated between the biggest glacier in mainland Europe and Norway’s wildest stretch of coast at Stad. This 150-km-long area from west to east, from ocean to glacier, offers lots of great and readily accessible scenic, cultural and culinary experiences. Olden is a small pleasant village at the end of the Nordfjord. A ten minutes walk from the quay will bring you to the centre of Olden, with shops, outlet stores, cafés, ATM and a post-office.
Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture and exciting urban life all year around. In Bergen you can also enjoy some of the finest seafood restaurants in Norway.

With half a century of cruising behind her, elegant Marco Polo is one of the UK’s favourite cruise ships. With a maximum passenger capacity of 850, her relatively small size means that you’ll enjoy a more intimate and personal cruising experience than that offered by her modern, mega-ship cousins.
Marco Polo cruises are exclusively for adults, with the emphasis on traditional British cruising. The combination of well-planned itineraries, excellent facilities, sumptuous food and friendly and attentive service ensures that you can look forward to a highly enjoyable and memorable holiday.
