Day 1: To Oslo

Your Nordic adventure begins today, with your scheduled flight to Oslo. On arrival, you connect with the rail service into the centre of cosmopolitan Oslo, occasionally known as ‘the Venice of the North’, before transferring to your hotel for the next two nights.

Day 2: Oslo

Discover elegant Oslo on a guided city tour this morning. Exploring the city on foot, your tour takes in some of Oslo’s most important and popular sights, including the new State Opera House and Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is famously awarded. Following this, enjoy a food tasting of traditional Norwegian specialities at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Stockholm

Today, enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before a short walk to Oslo station. Here, you take a train to the Swedish capital of Stockholm, enjoying the stunning Scandinavian scenery. Enjoy the route as it takes you through dense, verdant forests and sparkling lakes, before finally arriving at our destination for the next 3 days.

Day 4: Exploring Stockholm

Today is spent exploring Stockholm. After breakfast, meet for a guided walking tour, visiting some of Stockholm’s most famous sights. These include ‘Gamla Stan’, or the ‘Old Town’, which boasts the title of one of the best preserved medieval centres in Europe, and the Royal Palace, which was home to the monarchs of Sweden for nearly 250 years.

Day 5: At leisure in Stockholm

Today is your last day in Stockholm, and the perfect chance to enjoy a full day at leisure, possibly to revisit the sights you saw the day before.

Days 6-7: Copenhagen

This morning, take a short walk to Stockholm Station to catch your rail connection to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. This city boasts of fifteen Michelin-starred restaurants, elegant architecture, and is home to the worlds oldest monarchy.

Day 8: Return to the UK

Today transfer to the airport after breakfast for your return flight from Copenhagen, on arrival your holiday comes to an end.

Located in the elegant heart of the Danish capital, the 4* Scandic Copenhagen is sophisticated and wellfurnished with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. Many of Copenhagen’s finest bars and restaurants are minutes away, with the Scandic Copenhagen being located near Indre By, Copenhagen’s central and most thriving district.
