Once powerful European nations, steeped in Viking and Hanseatic League history, Sweden and Denmark now offer a blend of culture and modernity. Think of charming historic capitals, pristine landscapes, Viking heritage, modern monarchies, and welcoming people. Yet, their medieval strength has left behind rich legacies, including opulent palaces filled with art, picturesque villages with exquisite churches, and Baltic-style towns with cobbled streets.
