This delightful, magical Cox and Kings tour will charm you from the very moment you arrive in South America; explore the highlights of Brazil, Argentina and Chile and discover a wealth of historic sites, museums, galleries and towering cities. Begin in Santiago at the foothills of the Andes and take in the exquisite beauty of Patagonia. You will also visit Buenos Aires and marvel at the Iguazu Falls, before ending the tour in Rio de Janeiro and sampling traditional Brazilian dishes.
Day 1 – To Santiago
Fly from London (regional connections available) to Santiago

Day 2 – Santiago
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Optional afternoon visit to a nearby winery. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 3 – Santiago
Morning city tour including the historic centre, San Cristobal hill and the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. Afternoon at leisure.(Breakfast)
Day 4 – To Patagonia
Fly to Punta Arenas for a short tour and views of the Strait of Magellan. Continue through the Patagonian wilderness to Puerto Natales.

Day 5– To Torres del Paine
Full-day excursion through the Torres del Paine National Park to see peaks, glacier lakes and Patagonian wildlife.

Day 6 – Torres del Paine
Morning walk in the national park, close to Lake Nordenskjold and the Salto Grande waterfall. Afternoon at leisure or optional excursions in the park.

Day 7 – To El Calafate
Cross the border to El Calafate in Argentina and check into your hotel

Day 8 – Perito Moreno
Full-day tour of Perito Moreno glacier. Optional boat trip in front of the gigantic glacier wall.

Day 9 – To Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10 – Buenos Aires
Half-day tour of the elegant capital city and the colourful La Boca district.

Day 11 – Buenos Aires
At leisure or optional excursion to an estancia in the Pampas or Colonia in Uruguay.

Days 12-13 – To Iguazu Falls
Fly to Iguazú Falls. Guided visit of the Brazilian side of these striking cataracts and time at leisure to explore the various walkways on the Argentinian side at your own pace. The cascades can be experienced while the park is closed to other visitors.

Day 14– To Rio de Janeiro
Fly to Rio, set on a natural bay and surrounded by mountains. (Breakfast)
Day 15-16: Rio de Janeiro
Full-day city tour, including Corcovado, the statue of Christ the Redeemer and a cable-car ride up Sugar Loaf mountain. Day 16 at leisure or optional excursions including a visit to the old centre of Rio or a 4×4 tour to Tijuca forest.(Breakfast)
Days 17-18: Fly to London
Overnight flight to London with British Airways. Please enquire for supplements for day room use if required. Arrive in London the next day.
