Day 1 – Arrive in Atlanta
Arrive at the airport for your direct flight to Atlanta

Day 2 – Nashville
Drive into Tennessee, heading towards Lynchburg. This little town is a great place to get a bite to eat before you visit the Jack Daniel Distillery. Later in the day, arrive in Nashville

Day 3 – Nashville
In downtown Nashville, visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, full of exhibits from the history of the genre. The famed Music Row is close by, lines with studios and record company offices. Here you’ll visit the legendary RCA Studio B, where Elvis recorded many of his hits.

Day 4 – Memphis
Say goodbye to Nashville and head to Memphis. This afternoon, have a guided tour around the legendary Sun Studio.

Day 5 – Graceland & National Civil Rights Museum
Today, visit one of America’s biggest tourist attractions, Elvis’ Graceland. In the afternoon, visit the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was shot in April 1968. The evening is at leisure to sample the music scene at Memphis’ famous Beale Street

Day 6 – Amtrak Train to New Orleans
An early departure this morning as you catch the renowned ‘City of New Orleans’ Amtrak train service to New Orleans. This takes you through vast forests, farms and small towns that line the banks of the Mississippi.

Day 7 – New Orleans
Take a walking tour of New Orleans’ famous French Quarter with a local guide. See the charming art galleries and antique shops along Royal Street, the St Louis Cathedral, and the iconic Bourbon Street. This afternoon is free for you to explore the city.

Day 8 – Free day in New Orleans
Today you’re free to relax in the city and explore further afield.

Day 9 – Houston & NASA
Leave New Orleans this morning heading along Louisiana’s Cajun country towards Texas. As you enter the outskirts of Houston, stop at the world-famous NASA Johnson Space Center, still an operation base where the International Space Station is controlled from. Visit ‘Mission Control’ and see a full-size Saturn V rocket.

Day 10 – San Antonio
Continue further into the south Texan plains to San Antonio. Here you’ll see the Alama, where a group of settlers famously held out against the Mexican army in the 1830s. Tonight, stay just round the corner from the Alamo and within easy walking distance of the Riverwalk area where you can try out some of the region’s famed Tex-Mex cuisine.

Day 11 – Fort Worth
Say goodbye to San Antonio and travel north to Dallas, with some free time en route to explore Austin. On arrival in Fort Worth, visit the historical Stockyard District.

Day 12 – Dallas
This morning, visit the infamous Dealey Plaza where President John F Kennedy was assassinated. While here see the 6^th Floor Museum which is dedicated to explaining the background and events of the day. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.

Day 13 – Return flight
Transfer to Dallas airport for your return flight via Atlanta

Day 14 – Arrive Home
Arrive back in the UK in the morning.
