Husky Excursions

Husky safaris are designed for you and your family to immerse yourself in Lapland life. Husky sledging has a long tradition here, being a way for people to move across the snow and ice. These excursions are tailor made to suit all ages, experiences and fitness levels meaning the whole family can get involved.

Reindeer Excursions

Meet these wonderful creatures and take a sleigh ride through the winter wonderland. You’ll get the chance to visit a local reindeer farm and learn all about the reindeer before hopping in a sleigh through the snowy fells and forests.

Snowmobile Safaris

There is no better way to speed over the snow than on a snowmobile. Don some comfortable snow gear provided, including a thermal suit and insulated helmet, before driving through forests and across frozen lakes.

Ice Activities

There are several exciting activities available in Lapland. Take a guided snow-shoe walk, race around a snow track in go-karts, or spend time in the Ice Hotel, with choices of a day visit or an overnight stay

Santa Experience 

Make your magical holiday even more special with a visit to Santa and his helpers. Only available in December, this allows guests to visit Santa’s Elves Hideaway, where you’ll make gingerbread, visit Comet the Reindeer and enjoy various games for younger children. Plus, you’ll get the chance to meet Santa Claus himself.

Horse Riding

Perfect for both beginners and experienced riders, horse riding excursions allow you to take a memorable ride through the snowy forests. If you want a more relaxing way to enjoy this excursion, enjoy a sleigh ride under the starry night sky.

Northern Lights Excursions

The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis is a wondrous sight to see, and Inghams offer two purpose-designed accommodations that give you a chance to catch this magical light show with overnight stays.

The Aurora Cabins, found in Levi and Saariselkä feature a semi-glass roof for watching the stars and Northern Lights.

The Glass Igloos in Levi are amazing accommodations, with a thermal dome roof with expansive views of the night sky. There is a choice of igloos available, ranging in size from 23m² to 53m².

Both overnight stays feature returns transfers from your accommodation and breakfast. Both the Aurora Cabins and the Glass Igloos can be booked on a half-board basis.

Ski and Cross-Country packages

Lapland offers a great atmosphere for skiing, with long, wide runs and night-time skiing. It is also a perfect location for cross-country skiing, ideal for beginner skiers and those wanting to take in their surroundings.

Guests can arrange 90-minute long taster sessions, or book a learn to ski package (3 or 5 days long).
