Days 1-2: Fly to Delhi
Fly overnight to Delhi, India’s capital. On arrival, enjoy time at leisure.

Day 3: Discover Delhi
Sightseeing today begins with a visit to the Red Fort and a rickshaw ride to the Khari Baoli Spice Market. Then, head to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Take a brief stop at India Gate and Parliament House. We also visit Gandhi Smriti, where Gandhi was assassinated, and Qutab Minar.

Day 4: Agra
Depart for Agra and visit Agra Fort, a hulking mass of red sandstone sat on the banks of the Yamuna River. Later, visit the Taj Mahal, an architectural marvel and enjoy a live musical show in the evening.

Day 5: Travel to Khajuraho
Take a train to Jhansi this morning, with a change in Orchha en route. Continue to Khajuraho, home of the famous Khajuraho temples. This evening enjoy a cultural dance performance.

Day 6: Khajuraho
Today, tour the eastern and western groups of Khajuraho’s impressive temples. Fly to Varanasi and take a rickshaw to the atmospheric ghats on the River Ganges, where you’ll witness a ‘Ganga Aart’, a puja ceremony to the river goddess.

Day 7: River Ganges
Take an early morning boat ride along the River Ganges, followed by a brief city tour of Varanasi. Later this afternoon visit the Buddhist sites at Sarnath.

Day 8: Jaipur
Fly to Jaipur where you have the rest of the day to explore the city on your own, before experiencing a traditional dance performance.

Day 9: Hawa Mahal & Amber Fort
We begin with a stop at Hawa Mahal, Palace of the Winds before continuing to Amber Fort. After trying our hand at some block painting and carpet weaving, we visit Maharajas City Palace and Jantar Mantar Observatory. Then, take part in a turban tying experience and visit a craft centre to try block printing and carpet weaving.

Days 10: Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur. Have the afternoon at leisure before taking a walking tour to explore the local vegetable and spice market in the evening.

Day 11: Explore Jodhpur
This morning visit Mehrangarh Fort, and Jaswant Thada. Take an auto rickshaw to a local restaurant for lunch before enjoying the afternoon at leisure.

Day 12: To Udaipur
Drive to Udaipur, a city of lakes, palaces and temples. On arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 13: Romantic Udaipur
Today, explore the city, starting with a drive around Fateh Sagar Lake. Stop at the Folk Museum, Mewar Art Gallery and Sahelion Ki Bari Gardens. Later, visit the flamboyant City Palace and admire its architecture. Relax on a cruise on Lake Pichola.

Day 14: Bundi
Drive to Bundi, stopping on route at Chittor Fort, one of the largest in India. Once in Bundi, spend time strolling through the town to see the unique stepwells.

Day 15: Ranthambore National Park
Today, travel to Ranthambore National Park. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Day 16: Ranthambore Safaris
Take both early morning and afternoon safaris in Ranthambore National Park for opportunities to spot the magnificent wildlife, including leopards and Bengal tigers.

Travel to Delhi by train and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
