Day 1: Depart London, Arrive Calgary

Fly from London Heathrow to Calgary, where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Reception this evening and meet with your fellow guests and Travelmarvel Tour Director.

Day 2: Calgary, Banff

On the way, visit Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, then tour Banff.

After breakfast, journey to Banff National Park. Tour Banff upon arrival and take in the many sights of this picturesque town and its stunning natural surrounds.

Day 3: Banff

Enjoy today at leisure to explore this charming alpine town at your own pace. If you’re after adventure, then consider joining a heli-flightseeing trip for aerial views of this breathtaking region. Perhaps watch for local wildlife on an exhilarating Bow River float trip or set off on a Banff Experience tour (own expense).

Day 4: Banff, Lake Louise

Along the way, if the weather permits, you will stop and take in the incredible Moraine Lake views. This striking blue, glacier-fed lake offers the perfect snapshot of Canada’s simply breathtaking beauty. Then, continue on to Lake Louise, which has become a world-famous, must-visit destination.

Day 5: Lake Louise, Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper

Journey along the Icefields Parkway and stop at Athabasca Glacier for a ride on an Ice Explorer. Continue to Jasper.

Day 6: Jasper, Blue River

Take a River Safari to Grizzly Bear Valley. Cruise through incredible scenery, keeping an eye out for wildlife.

Then, Journey to Blue River and enjoy an Inside Experience. Then, continue to Mike Wiegele Heli Village.

Day 7: Blue River, Vancouver

This morning after breakfast, journey through the beautifully rugged Cariboo region on your way to the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver. Upon arrival, you will enjoy time at leisure to explore this lively metropolis or take some time out to relax in a local café.

Day 8: Vancouver

Discover Vancouver on a city sightseeing tour today. Take in the city’s sleek high-rise-framed Waterfront and enjoy a visit to its historic heart and oldest neighbourhood, Gastown. This afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may wish to choose a select experience, such as a picturesque Grouse Mountain gondola ride or a thrilling walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which hangs 70 metres above the Capilano River (own expense).

Day 9: Vancouver, Whistler

Head along the Sea to Sky Highway to beautiful Whistler. Upon arrival, perhaps try a select experience such as a Tree Trek in the ancient forest along a suspension bridge or a Zip Trek through the trees. You may also like to take a Gondola Ride between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains (own expense).

Day 10: Whistler, Georgia Strait, Victoria

Today you will depart the resort village of Whistler and head for the coast to take a ferry from Horseshoe Bay across the Georgia Strait. Arrive on Vancouver Island and continue south to the beautiful city of Victoria. Alternatively, you may prefer to take a floatplane flight to Victoria (own expense).

Day 11: Victoria

Enjoy a day at leisure, or choose from one of the select experiences available. Perhaps take a whale-watching cruise on a Zodiac or luxury motor yacht, or a horse-drawn carriage tour through the city, visiting the James Bay district and the garden of Beacons Hill Park (own expense).

On the evening, savour a Farewell Dinner at The Butchart Gardens.

Day 12: Depart Vancouver

On arrival in Vancouver, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to the UK.

Day 13: Arrive London

Arrive back in London today.
