Discover the enchanting ambience of Germany’s traditional Christmas markets, complete with a plethora of one-of-a-kind, inventive gift choices, as well as the gorgeous Rhineland in its wintry splendour.
Cruise through the world famous and dramatic Rhine Gorge before arriving in the renowned wine town of Rüdesheim and spending the afternoon wandering this charming spot. Explore Koblenz, dramatically situated at the confluence of the Rhine & Moselle Rivers, on a guided tour with free time to browse its lovely Christmas market. Discover Bonn on a guided tour of Germany’s historic former capital before arriving back in Cologne, where the rest of the day is free to discover one (or all) of its seven Christmas markets.

Day 1: Arrival in Cologne
Arrive at the airport for your flight to Düsseldorf or Cologne, or take the Eurostar to Brussels from London St Pancras International. On arrival, transfer by coach to your five-star cruise ship moored in historic Cologne. You’ll have plenty of time to settle in to your cabin and start exploring the ship’s facilities
Day 2: Rhine Gorge & Rüdesheim
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relax as the ship cruises through the scenic Rhine Gorge. After lunch, you’ll arrive in Rüdesheim for a guided tor. Wander through the towns charming Christmas Market and visit the Christmas ship, full of seasonal gifts and treats. Return to the ship for dinner.
Day 3: Rhine Gorge & Bonn
Spend the morning cruise back through the Rhine Gorge. Arrive in the city of Bonn after lunch and take a guided tour to see its minster and Rococo old town hall. There’s then some free time to wander the seasonal market.
Day 4: Cologne
Having sailed into Cologne overnight, you’ll head ashore after breakfast for a guided tour of the old town around the magnificent cathedral. After, you can return to the ship or carry on exploring independently.
Day 5: Return home
Transfer to the airport for your return flight or to Brussels to connect with the Eurostar service to London St Pancras International.
