Day 1 – Arrival in Athens
Take you flight to Athens, and upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for a two-night stay. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 – Athens
This morning, take a tour of Athens, including a visit to the Acropolis. You’ll also visit the Acropolis Museum before strolling through the Agora. In the afternoon, there is free time for lunch and exploring the old district of Plaka.
Day 3 – Ancient Corinth
Today, you’ll leave Athens and travel towards ancient Corinth. Here you’ll visit the market and theatre, as well as other notable landmarks. Later on, you’ll travel towards Loutraki, passing the impressive Corinth Canal. Lunch is at leisure in the seaside resort of Loutraki after which you’ll continue onto the port of Piraeus to board the Star Clipper.
Day 4 – Delos & Mykonos
In the morning, visit the small island of Delos. Enjoy a guided tour of its great temple of Apollo, the Terrace of the Lions and the elegant mosaic lined houses.
From here, sail to Mykonos, where there’s free time to explore and admire the white-washed town and blue domed churches of the town.
Day 5 – Ephesus
The ship moors in the Turkish port of Kusadasi, the gateway to Ephesus. Enjoy a guided tour of the incredible ancient, seeing the Library of Celsus and the enormous amphitheatre. After lunch back on board, there’s some free time in Kusadasi before the ship departs.
Day 6 – Rhodes
Upon arrival, take a tour of Rhodes town, seeing its medieval wonders including the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. Alternatively, choose an optional tour of Lindos, just 30 miles away. Here you’ll have the chance to climb up to the Acropolis which offers stunning views.
Day 7 – Kos
One of the most popular Dodecanese Islands, Kos offers picturesque beaches, traditional fishing villages, and lively towns and promenades. During your guided tour of Kos, explore the Asklepieion, which was constructed during the 4th century BC and is considered the most important archaeological site on the island. You’ll also visit the village of Zia, a centre for local arts and crafts, as well as honey and herb production. After lunch on the ship, the rest of the afternoon is free for exploring the island independently.
Day 8 – Amorgos
Today is spent exploring the Cycladic island of Amorgos, including a visit to the incredible Panagia Hozoviotissa Monastery and the old town.
Day 9 – Poros
As the ship sails back towards Athens, call at the small island of Poros. Head ashore to explore the area independently or join an excursion to the Epidaurus Theatre and Museum.
Day 10 – Sounion
This morning, disembark the Star Clipper and head to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. Enjoy some time to explore the temple and admire the views, return to the Plaka District for lunch at leisure before heading to the hotel. The rest of the day and evening area leisure to explore Athens.
Day 11 – Return home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home
