Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Fly to Athens and on arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Athens & Board the Star Flyer
This morning, venture out on a walking tour of Athens, during which you’ll visit the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Then, visit the Acropolis Museum and enjoy some free time to find lunch and wander through the Plaka district before boarding the Star Flyer

Day 3: Monemvasia
Enjoy a relaxed morning of sailing before arriving at Monemvasia, where you’ll have time to explore the beautifully resort medieval town.

Day 4: Milos
After breakfast, the ship stops at the island of Milos, one of the quieter Greek islands. Take a guided tour to view the volcanic rock formations of Sarakiniko beach before making a short stop at Phylakopi as you travel to Plaka. Explore the town before having free time. Alternatively, spend the day exploring independently.

Day 5: Patmos
Enjoy another relaxing morning of sailing to reach Patmos. On a guided tour here, visit the Grotto of the Apocalypse, where St John the Theologian lived for two years. From here, travel to Chora Old Town, home to the imposing monastery of St John and the mansion of the Simandiris family. Later, return to Skala and enjoy some free time.

Day 6: Chios
Today’s port of call is the island of Chios, famous for the mastic plant. On a tour today, visit Pyrgi to admire the ‘sgraffito’ style homes before viewing some of the mastic trees to learn about their cultivation. Finish the tour at the village of Mesta before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7: Pergamon
The Star Flyer sails into Dikili this morning, from where you’ll transfer to the ancient city of Pergamon where you’ll find the remains of the Temple of Trajan and the Ascleipion sanctuary. Return to the ship for an afternoon of sailing.

Day 8: Day at sea
Enjoy a leisurely day of sailing, during which you can relax on the deck, take a dip in the pool or even have the chance to climb up the crow’s nest.

Day 9: Istanbul
Disembark the Star Flyer and start exploring Istanbul, beginning with a guided visit to the Topkapi Palace, the residential of the Sultans and now a marvelous museum. After, visit the Hippodrome before checking into your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10: Istanbul
Continue exploring the city, visiting the breathtaking Hagia Sophia this morning before heading to the Blue Mosque.

Day 11: Return home
At the appropriate time, transfer to Istanbul airport for your flight home.
