Day 1 – Arrive in Italy
Fly to Milan or Bologna and transfer to your hotel in Parma, where you’ll stay for 4 nights. The rest of the day is leisure.
Day 2 – Parma
This morning, take a sightseeing tour of Parma. Learn about the city’s history and see one of Italy’s finest Romanesque buildings, the Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 – Bologna
After breakfast, head to Bologna. Here you’ll a beautifully maintained city, home to splendid Renaissance palazzi, the San Petronio Basilica and Europe’s oldest university. Bologna is also known for its wonderful cuisine which you can indulge during your lunch at leisure.
Day 4 – Ravenna
Drive towards the Adriatic coast, exploring Ravenna, the city of mosaics. Discover its unique byzantine buildings, displaying magnificent mosaics, with a guide. After, travel to Acetaia Villa San Donnino, just outside Modena. Here you’ll learn about the production of balsamic vinegar and have the chance to try some.
Day 5 – Return home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
