Malta, for 6,000 years, has been a crossroads for ancient Mediterranean civilizations. It’s famous for the Knights of St. John, the Maltese Falcon, and the George Cross. With a rich history and a language influenced by Latin, Arabic, and Semitic dialects, Malta is a unique destination. Its temples predate the pyramids by a thousand years, making them the world’s oldest buildings.
