All childcare staff at Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin are fully qualified (DCE, NNEB, NVQ or equivalent) or have at least two years’ relevant experience. Due to high demand, childcare must be pre-booked at the time of booking.

At L’Ecrin, childcare is available for children from 4 months to 12 years old. It must be arranged before arrival in resort and is offered at an additional charge. Mark Warner’s chalet hotel features in-house crèches, plus daily ski school pick-up and drop-off for children booked into lesson – giving parents extra time on the slopes.

February half-term notice
Afternoon ski school availability is extremely limited and only bookable on request. Please note that Mark Warner childcare cannot currently be offered alongside afternoon-only ski school. Baby Club (4–11 months)

A warm, secure and homely environment where dedicated key workers follow your baby’s routine, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

Toddler Club (1–2 years)

Busy, happy days filled with games, stories, music, art and snowy adventures, all led by caring nannies who work around your child’s routine.

Mini Club (3–5 years)

A fun-packed programme of crafts, games, sledging and snow play. Children aged 4–5 can also be booked into half-day ski school, followed by supervised afternoon activities.

Kidz Club (6–12 years)

Action-filled days with ski school drop-offs and exciting afternoons of sledging, games, treasure hunts and more – perfect for adventurous young skiers.

Baby cots & fold beds
Travel cots for infants under 2 years. Extra cots or fold beds for children aged 12 years and under are available in selected room types. Extra beds are suitable for guests with a maximum weight of 80kg.

Twin beds are pushed together but can be separated. All beds have synthetic duvets and pillows. Double linen for twin beds is available on request. Cot linen is provided.

Our chef team at Chalet Hotel L’Ecrin has created menus featuring an exciting mix of international dishes and great British classics, with a balanced variety of options each day. After a busy day on the slopes, the menu is designed to satisfy even the heartiest appetites.

Hotel Restaurant

Inside the restaurant, you’ll receive a warm welcome from our friendly and experienced team. Whether you choose a full English or continental breakfast, you’ll be well set up for the day ahead.

When you return from the slopes, afternoon tea is served with a tempting selection of homemade cakes, juices and teas to help you refuel.

In the evening, unwind with a delicious three-course dinner, accompanied by our specially selected house wine, included with your meal. A children’s high tea is also available for guests aged 12 years and under.

Both small and large group tables are available, creating a lively and sociable atmosphere.

One evening per week, dinner is not served in the chalet hotel, giving you the opportunity to explore and dine at one of the excellent local restaurants.

Traditional alpine styling continues into the cosy bar and lounge. This spacious bar is the perfect place to gather with friends and fellow skiers to relax and socialise.
