Hotel Salgart has one of the most idyllic locations in Merano. It’s on the outskirts of the town, surrounded by vineyards and orchards with views over the stunning Etch Valley. The centre of Merano’s just a 20-minute walk away or you can use the local buses that stop around a five-minute walk away from the hotel.
This is a family-run hotel where they make every guest feel at home. The rooms have been renovated in a modern style with balconies either facing the rear of the hotel, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, or over the pool, where you can take advantage of the sun. We love the hotels outdoor pool, it’s the best place to relax and cool off after a day discovering the local walks. The new dining room has panoramic views, and they use fresh produce in their South Tyrolean and Italian dishes.

Hotel Salgart operates on a half board basis.
Breakfast is buffet style. The half board dining includes dinner for 6 nights a week. From Tuesday to Friday, the evening meal is three courses, with a choice for each. On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant will serve special set menus. On Mondays, the restaurant is closed but there are a number of local restaurants in nearby Merano.
