The bar offers a cosy alpine ambience with outdoor fire burners and ponchos provided for cooler evenings. Rooms are spacious and feature traditional colourful Chilean textiles and artwork.

Hotel Cosaustralis

Hotel CostAustralis was designed by a local architect who planned the entire facade with floor-to-ceiling windows that face on to the sound, which means that there are spectacular sweeping views from the bar, the restaurant and the lounge. With 110 rooms, the CostAustralis is the town’s largest hotel, but it retains a certain cosiness with its grass cloth wallpaper offset by wooden trim and ceilings, plants and soft lighting. Facilities include a restaurant, room service and a laundry service.

Within walking distance of the major areas of interest, the hotel is located on the main plaza in the heart of the city and has a direct view of the Strait of Magellan. The hotel has 110 rooms and amenities include a restaurant serving regional and international cuisine, a bar, room service and laundry facilities.
