Fly from the UK to Amsterdam. On arrival, transfer to your ship where you have the rest of the day to settle in.

Day 4: Nijmegen, Otterlo
The ship docks in Nijmegen today, the oldest city in the Netherlands. Travel to the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, opened privately for APT guests. Discover the art collection including works by Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso before returning to Nijmegen for time at leisure.

Day 5: Maastricht
This morning, take a tour of Maastricht, known for its Roman history and historic architecture. Then, head to Château Neercanne where you can admire the views of the Jeker Valley and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Day 6: Antwerp
The ship sails into Antwerp today. From here, you can visit the Battlefields of Fromelles, including the Flanders Field Museum and the Pheasant Wood and VC Corner Australian cemeteries. Alternatively, you can stay in the city to explore independently.

Day 7: Antwerp
Enjoy another day to explore Antwerp, beginning with a culinary walk to try some of Belgium’s renowned waffles and chocolates.

Today, you have the option of two ‘Freedom of Choice’ experiences

Day 9: Ghent, Bruges
Continue to Bruges, where you’ll have the full day to soak up its historic wonders, including the Markt and the 13th-Century belfry.

Day 10: Ghent, Somme Battlefields
Explore the Somme battlefields, including the 1st and 2nd Australian Division Memorials, and visit the Thiepval Memorial, the world’s largest World War I Commonwealth Memorial. Continue to the Sir John Monash Centre at Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery for an immersive look at the experiences of Australian soldiers on the Western Front.Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 11: Veere, Delta Works
Today the ship cruises into the Zeeland region, home to the incredible Delta Works, a series of flood protection systems that took more than 30 years to complete.

Day 12: Kinderdijk
Visit Kinderdijk, known for having the Netherland’s largest concentration of 18th-Century windmills.

Day 13: Rotterdam
Spend the morning on a ‘Freedom of Choice’ Experience before having the rest of the day to explore Rotterdam on your own. Return to the ship for dinner.

Day 14: Amsterdam
Return to Amsterdam, you’ll visit the renowned Keukenhof Gardens, home to over 70 acres of gardens and parklands.

Day 15: Disembark Ship, Depart Amsterdam
Sadly today, your journey draws to a conclusion. Say your farewells, disembark your ship and be transferred to the airport.
