Journey through three incredible countries taking in world-renowned ancient sites, magnificent temples and sailing Earth’s longest river, the Nile. This history-filled tour uncovers the intrigue of the Middle East in one bucket list trip.
On this 25-day adventure, you’ll spend time exploring and learning the history of the Great Sphinx of Giza and Egypt’s famous pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Visit the Western Wall of the Temple Mount – one of the most significant remnants in Jerusalem. With only 70 metres visible, this tour allows you to reach the sectors hidden from view. Walk through tunnels leading to fascinating ancient areas with large stone arches, water pits and see the Strouthion Pool.
Another stand-out experience includes seeing the ancient city of Petra by night. Walk the lantern-lit gorge to the Treasury, which is illuminated by over 1,500 candles, casting dramatic shadows and bringing this major attraction to light.

Fly to Cairo, arriving late the same day. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay.
An exciting day ahead with a trip to the famous Pyramids of Giza and The Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum which houses an extensive collection of statues, mummies and treasures, including Tutankhamun’s Tomb.
Visit Old Cairo churches, the Coptic Museum, which hosts the world’s largest collection of Egyptian Christian artefacts, and the ancient burial ground Sakkara. You will have the afternoon at leisure to explore the city, before dinner at Cairo Tower’s revolving restaurant.
Depart for the largest city on the Mediterranean, as well as Egypt’s main seaport, Alexandria. Once here see the Roman Amphitheater, the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and the Qaitbay Citadel, a defensive fortress located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
On the journey back to Cairo you will stop at El Alamein for a guided tour of the military museum and WWII cemeteries. Once in Cairo, take the overnight train to Luxor.
On reaching Luxor begin your journey along the Nile. This afternoon, visit Luxor’s East Bank including the Temples of Luxor and Karnak, buildings dedicated to the Egyptian pharaohs.
Today explore the West Bank, one of the most stunning landscapes in Egypt. Visit the Colossi of Memnon statues, Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of Kings, home to the tombs of ancient Egyptian rulers. Then, sail on to Esna.
Head to the Temple of Edfu before sailing further to the Temple of Kom Ombo, famous for its unique twin temples. Sail to Aswan and stay overnight.
Touring the town of Aswan, you will stop at the 3,600-metre High Dam, walk around the Unfinished Obelisk and the majestic Temple of Philae. Enjoy a felucca tour viewing and the botanical gardens.
Disembark the ship and journey southwest to the iconic twin temples of Abu Simbel, at Egypt’s furthest edge. This atmospheric temple complex, perhaps the greatest in Egypt, is dedicated to Ramesses II, often considered the greatest pharaoh of the New Kingdom. Admire its many halls and imposing statues before returning to Aswan for your flight back to Cairo.
After breakfast you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Amman where you will have the day at leisure.
Today you visit As-Salt for a city tour, driving to Jerash to experience one of the most favoured Roman pastimes, a gladiator show and chariot race. Drive to Ajloun to visit the fortress of Qa’lat Al Rabad, overlooking the Jordan Valley.
Take a city tour through Amman, exploring the Citadel and Roman Amphitheatre, before visiting some of Jordan’s Desert Castles. A Nai-making workshop, under the tutelage of a local expert, ends this day of exploring.
A busy day as you visit Mount Nebo, the site of Moses’ Tomb, Madaba to see the Orthodox Church of St. George, and the Madaba Mosaic Map, the oldest surviving depiction of the Holy Land. Travel to Petra where you will stay overnight.
Visit Petra’s many caves and tombs. Surrounded by imposing mountains and accessible through a deep, narrow cleft, Petra is a unique and unforgettable place. You have the afternoon to yourself before your evening tour of Petra where you’ll see it lit up by candlelight.
Enjoy a short stop at Little Petra before driving to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Explore Lawrence’s Road, visiting the most spectacular sights and drive among sand dunes to get a sense of what Wadi Rum has to offer.
Travel north along the Jordanian/Israeli border to the Dead Sea – the lowest point on earth. After lunch enjoy some free time to finish off your Jordan experience.
Make your way by road to Tel Aviv. On arrival why not take the opportunity to relax before your explorations begin tomorrow.
The first stop is Jaffa, the world’s oldest active harbour, before continuing to Caesarea to view the fascinating Roman ruins. A Druze Village stop with local interaction before finishing the day on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.
Depart for Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the Loaves and Fishes. From here, you will travel to Mount of Beatitudes and visit a hilltop town rich in Jewish heritage, before returning to Tiberias this afternoon.
After breakfast, head to Kibbutz Degania B, Israel’s first Kibbutz, touring the community before you drive through the scenic Jordan Valley into Palestinian territory to Qasr El Yahud. Take a cable car to the Quarantal Monastery on Mount of Temptations in Jericho, then continuing to the Dead Sea to end your day.
Qumran, famous for being the area where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered is your 1st stop today. Travel by cable car to the top of Masada Fortress and then continue onto Bethlehem – Palestine, and enjoy a Palestinian dancing show during dinner this evening.
Visit the Church of Nativity this morning before seeing the Western Tunnels in Jerusalem. At Mount Zion you will visit the Cenacle, King David’s Tomb and the Dormition Abbey. Venture into Western Jerusalem to visit the Hebrew University, Parliament House and the Supreme Court.
From the Mount of Olives you will descend into Josaphat Valley to the Garden of Gethsemane. The Old City is where you will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and finish this amazing tour with an authentic Shabbat dinner prepared by a local Rabbi.
Transfer to the airport in Tel Aviv for your departure flight.

Explore the Western Wall Tunnels
The Western Wall of Temple Mount is one of the most significant and holy sites in Jerusalem, the last section of the great Second Jewish Temple for the 2nd century BC. Only small sections of the wall are visible from the Western Wall Plaza, but you’ll discover more touring the old tunnels, seeing segments that have been hidden for thousands of years and other fascinating archaeological finds, like the Struthion Pool.
